These are pretty solid, thought they're a touch warmer than other 3000K bulbs. They're not 2700K, but they're definitely not 3000K. This is based upon the fact that my entire house is standardized on 3000K and I gave consistency across several brands. But, these are filament. They're also remarkably bright, probably brighter than spec. Hopefully they'll degrade a bit, but otherwise I need a dimmer. They do NOT strobe at full brightness. A lot of LEDs strobe even at full brightness, like ok fine they use a PWM dimmer and it comes with the territory, but these are solid so I'm pretty thankful for that. I have not tried them on a dimmer yet. Edit: Since my review I've started to standardize my house on these and I've bought a couple more boxes to replace half dome LEDs with these as they have a really nice light pattern. They work in my dimmable dining room chandelier. But the the dimming is not as warm, in my opinion, compared to regular lightbulbs. **Q: Looking at 3000K bulbs. All product photos show clear bulbs, but reviewers' photos show white bulbs with plastic bases. Which is it?** A: The 3000K bulbs which I received have a meta E25 base which screws into the socket. some kind of hard plastic or painted metal mid section and a plastic top which seems completely opaque. Despite the top, my set is as bright as advertised. **Q: Can these be used in a 3 way lighting touch lamp?** A: Yes as long as it says its a 3 way bulb. I have 2 that are.
