These handlebars are ideal for the easy-rider!
Not for the avid rockhopper or pro mountain biker but I'm glad I'm not any one of those. I'm happy I made the switch to these really comfortable bars that enable a more upright easy- riding position. This means less back problems reaching forward for the grips. Only wish I had made the switch earlier.

Simple, black handlebars - easy on the wrists
I was looking for some simple handlebars (ideally black) to replace the straight handlebars on my fixie because they were causing pain in my wrists. These fitted the bill exactly, and were not expensive. I paired them with shaped comfort grips and am now very happy! The picture shows how they were delivered - bubble wrapped and parcel taped - so it was easy to guess what was being posted through my door!

Adapting my 15 year old hybrid bike to dutch style.
As I mature my old, trusted bike still works perfectly, but my aging body isnt. Bought this and swapped over the brakes and gears to the new handlebar. It was easy. I also bought a stem riser, a 21cm one. This helped raise the handlebar above the height of the seat. All worked really well and nice short ride evidenced it. Halfords would have charged £100 to do the work and replace the kit. Its cost me about £40. A new dutch style bike would be circa £600, £540, saved, not forgetting all the hassle. The other feature of doing the work myself has meant i know my bike better now so fine tuning the adjustments would have meant going back and forth to Halfords. Next on the list is a new bike saddle. If you want images, will post them.

Upright bars for more comfortable ride position
Bought bars for my wife’s MTB as she found the standard bars too wide. These give a much more comfortable upright riding position for her.
