The very best kettle, worth every penny! I had one for over 30 years and it would've lasted forever had I not left it on a burner by mistake, for hours, causing it to blacken and burn inside!

I purchased the Simplex kettle after drooling over it for months! However, I was very disappointed when I received it. The price of the product close to $500, does not match the quality of what I expected. The bottom and walls of the kettle were very thin (even thinner than a $50 stovetop kettle I had purchased). The kettle's whistle is very low and I could barely hear it from 5 feet away! Sorry, I love the looks of the kettle and would consider buying it again if the materials were more solid. Thank you.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

The media could not be loaded. Ah I wanted a kettle from this company for a long time. I splurged finally and am frankly somewhat disappointed. It’s not particularly sturdy, feels cheap actually. The top leaks steam as you can see so you must be careful and use a towel not to burn your hand on either the steam coming up or the hot wooden lacquered handle. The whistle is just ok. I drink tea daily so I plan on using this daily and I’m wondering if it was worth the money given my $30 kettle is sturdy, has a great whistle, and does the job. Sigh. What do do?,,,,

The look and feel of this beautiful Simplex Tea Kettle is like no other kettle I have ever experienced. The craftsmanship alone puts it on the highest level. The functionality enables me to boil water as if I am preparing tea in Buckingham Palace. I have received so many compliments on this wonderful kettle. It is very sturdy and well made. The gentle whistle when the water boils is like a songbird. This would make a lovely gift for any occasion.

This is not just a teapot; it's a true work of art. I have a few teapots at home, but most are mass produced with industrial concerns and lack aesthetics. However, this teapot is so beautiful that every detail shows the craftsmanship. Of course, I don't compare it with other teapots in terms of price, as the production quality is vastly different. Tea made in steel and aluminum teapots is also delicious, but only those who use copper know the difference. Its 60 ounce capacity is quite large, even more than I need, but it's still nice to have a large teapot. The gap between the handle and the lid is ideal, making it easy to carry and protecting my hand from the heat.
