The further development of BP5 will be called BP WR in future. The world famous BP 5 has been used for many years by help organisations in disaster protection, in the military, in expeditions and most of all in civilian protection service as emergency food ration. BP WR mainly consists of baked wheat. It is instantly ready-to-eat and doesn't have to be cooked. It tastes very nice (sweet) and is suitable for everyone (except children under the age of 6 months). BP WR has extremely high nutritional value and a pack of 500g. (= 2 day ration) corresponds to 2.432kcal. Mixed with boiling water, you can prepare food for babies (babies from 6 to 24 months) porridge. The ingredients: wheat flour, palm and rapeseed oil, glucose, oats, sugar, barley malt, glucose syrup, milk protein and potassium chloride. BP WR is completely vegetarian and does not contain any animal components. It is completely free from genetically modified ingredients and can be eaten by anyone. The manufacture is controlled by the Norwegian Ministry of Health. The advantage is that it requires little storage space and can be stored even under extreme conditions. BP emergency ration has been the strategic component during supply problems for more than 20 years. The reference list reads like a who is who of the largest natural disasters and famines of the last decades. The legendary emergency nutrition of the Norwegian company Compact is used wherever human beings face emergency situations.
