Horrified by the overwhelming scent of animal once these brushes were wet. The bristles are made of wool, but I hate to think of where in China these are made. The brushes have red, Chinese writing all over the handles. It was embarrassing how strong they smell, and makes me sad for the animals slaughtered to make these cheap brushes. Will be sure to choose synthetic next time.
