High Quality with a Minor Odor Issue
I recently tried the HBNO Organic Almond Oil, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its quality and versatility. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with this product.Pros:Cold-Pressed Excellence: One of the standout features is that this almond oil is cold-pressed. This method helps retain the nutrients, which is crucial for maintaining its effectiveness in skincare and haircare. It’s reassuring to know that the oil is organic, virgin, and unrefined, making it a pure and natural choice.Organic and Cruelty-Free: I appreciate that this oil is USDA-certified organic and cruelty-free. It’s good to support products that align with ethical and environmental values. The fact that it’s vegan and hexane-free further adds to its appeal.Versatile Use: The oil is perfect for a variety of uses — whether it’s for massage, aromatherapy, DIY beauty projects, or even soap making.Nourishing Properties: Packed with vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats, this almond oil offers excellent nourishment for both skin and hair. I found it particularly effective when blended with other oils for hair care.Packaging and Labeling: The packaging is well-designed, with clear information and an expiration date prominently indicated. This transparency is always appreciated when choosing products.Cons:Unpleasant Odor: While I’ve used almond oil before and enjoyed its benefits, this particular product had a distinct, somewhat unpleasant odor that was different from what I’m used to. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it was noticeable and somewhat off-putting.Overall Impression:The HBNO Organic Almond Oil is a high-quality product with many benefits. Its cold-pressed extraction method ensures that it retains its nutrients, and the organic certification provides added peace of mind. It’s a versatile oil that can be used in various beauty and wellness applications. However, the unfamiliar and somewhat unpleasant odor is a minor drawback. If you can overlook this issue, the oil’s quality and effectiveness make it a great addition to your skincare and haircare routine.

Annoying to open but I love the feel
I have not experimented with almond oil before so this review is based on being a newbie almond oil user. I’ve used castor oil and I find it really sticky so I don’t much like using it on my hair or skin (I only do it when I’m going to shower the next morning). The almond oil is really smooth and soft. It feels great on my skin, and it was easy to put some in my hair. I would like to use it as a carrier oil and I think it will be perfect for that. The bottle was annoying to open (the plastic surrounding it, I mean) but at least it didn’t leak in transit, and it’s pretty easy to dispense.

standard Almond oil
The oil itself is mostly fine, nothing particularly great. Pricing is a bit high considering this comes in a plastic bottle and is a bit sus on reputation. Like others mentioned, the scent is not the best it could be, and I would also attest this to the plastic bottle providing a less than ideal storage option. Works against its shelf life and above all, the pricing.

Pricey Oil; Questionable Overall
I'm giving this a maybe overall. The pricing is high compared to similar/identical unrefined cold press almond oils. For what it is, it isn't bad. Absorption is nice, leaving skin feeling moisturized. As a massage oil it's a bit too viscous, heating up with modest friction. The scent is also unexpected; very much like castille soap? As if there's other ingredients happening, with their terpenes [eucalyptus? bay tree?]. Wish I had more almond oils for comparison, so this could be down to inexperience. So, as a carrier oil it already has its baggage. But for soap making or skin treatment it has potential. Truly on the fence with this one, so 3 stars..

Good oil as carrier oil. Looks like oil from peanut butter
The media could not be loaded. This oil is versatile natural oil to me. I like it that it's cold pressed and hopefully has minimal other chemicals. For those who like the texture of nut oil, this oil is a good option to use. I massage my wrist with this oil, the oil is great. It lasts for multiple runs of massage. For me, there is not much smell coming out of the oil. There is no scent, if any it is so weak.Looking at the oil using an eye test, it looks to me this oil looks like oil when peanut butter stays for a long time. It just looks like a nut oil. Using my skin test, when I pour one or two drop on my skin, I feel like it's like a peanut oil that's used for cooking. The color is yellowish clear. The bottle is made of plastic. The oil is not a harsh oil. So, plastic bottle is not an issue over time. It comes with multiple layer of protection. There is a plastic wrapper that wraps the bottle. The second layer of protection is a seal that prevents the oil from spilling out of the bottle.

Great for dry, damaged hair!
This almond oil has been great for my dry and damaged hair! After spending a lot of time on the beach this summer, my hair was dried out from exposure to the sun and salt water. I have been applying this oil after the shower and it has greatly improved the health and shine of my hair. I also love the almond scent that it gives my hair. The scent is not overpowering and it lasts for the entire day.

Oil is stinky!!
The HBNO Organic Almond Oil is supposed to be natural almond oil which has been cold pressed and unrefined. The item was very well packaged to make sure there are no leaks and there were no leaks. It comes in a large amber colored plastic bottle.Upon opening it has a strong stink which is possibly due to the oil going rancid. The oil is light yellow in color. I applied it as a test to my hands and the still keeps stinking. I have purchased other products from this brand which have been good and hoping this was a bad batch - hence the 2 stars.
