UNCO Smoker Gasket, 2 Pack, 15 ft, 1/2" x 1/8", High Temp, Black

Just purchased a Treagor grill to be used predominately for smoking meats. While the grill does a good job, there are gabs in many areas around the lid. This allowed for a notable amount of smoke seeping out around the rim of the lid.Purchased the smoker gasket. It was super easy to install. Placed around the edge of the grill lid and as advertised, it completes but down the leaking fo smoke, directing it to the stack, as intended. Really did improve the outcome of the smoke and produced some delicious smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Very inexpensive solution!

Material was easy to work with, very sticky and worked like a charm. No smoke leaks except through the proper bent holes.

Built well a little hard to peel but overall easy to install on the grill. Size was just right to go around the whole lid. It works like it should and keeps the smoke in the grill.

my oklahoma joe smoker had some gaps on the lids. this took care of that and im not losing heat or smoke anymore. Ive probably done 25 cooks since applying it, its not peeling off. at first I thought it might be slightly too thick but it compressed down in a few days and its working exactly as id hoped. for the cook chamber i just did the lid, on the firebox i did it on the firebox and the lid. it works

So far it's been on my Pitboss Lexington smoker for a month or so and seen quite a few all day sessions... It was easy to work with, sticks well and really seals the door nicely allowing that smoky goodness to stay where it's needed. The gasket is just the right thickness and does not impede the door in anyway and it's stood up to the heat even when I crank the smoker to 400 for grilling on it. Overall, great product would buy again!

I have an 18" Weber Smokey Mountain smoker, and a quite a bit of smoke was coming out around the door because the door was slightly warped / bent in some areas. After using this gasket smoke no longer leaks around the door. I've done a few 12+ hour smokes since installing it, and it's holding up well.I only had to use about a quarter of it, so even if it needs replacing at some point I still have three more applications available. So at less than $2 per application, it's definitely worth the cost in my opinion.

UNCO- Smoker Gasket, 15 Ft, 1/2"X1/8", Grill Gasket was easy to install and adhesive is great. After cleaning the lip on the lid of my grill with denatured alcohol it stuck like instant glue. Be careful when installing that you get it where you want it the first time because you can't just pull it back off.I used it on a cheap Weber knockoff charcoal grill to seal up the lid so I could better control the temperature using the vents. I wish it would have been a little thicker and I might have been able to get a little better seal, but like I said, cheep grill.This worked to seal the lid a lot better and I can now keep the temp in the zone I want with the vents. Before the temp would just run away hot and the only way you could control it was to manage the charcoal carefully which is much harder to do. My grill cooks like a totally different grill now. This is a great product and if you want to better control the temp on your grill with the lid closed then give it a try.

Don't expect this stuff to last. Worked good for the first smoke on my smoker, not so much the second or third time. Started peeling pretty fast.
