It works like it should.

Great stand, I use it as a stand for a training pad.Not the best quality out there, but.. for training it is excellent.It is highly recommended.

Sturdy, easily adjustable, would definitely recommend.

Great deal for a double-braced snare stand. I'm just using it for a Roland Octapad - but it works great - I might buy another one for an extra side snare I have laying around.

I am a professional drummer and needed a quality snare stand for a rehearsal kit. This was perfect for what I required.

Nice and stable. All sliding parts move smoothly and easily. If I could find any fault with it at all I would compare it to the snare stand I've been using - the model that came stock with a Pearl Rhythm Traveler set. The basket adjusting nut on that stand had 4 or 5 tabs as opposed to the two on this one, and I found that quicker to reach under the snare and make an adjustment without having to grope around a little to find these two. A very minor complaint, and I would buy this stand again anytime.

I have another Pearl snare stand (the solid and shiny S-1030) but sometimes with my preference to sit low behind the kit, deeper snares can't sit low enough for me. I hate having to compromise by tilting the snare towards me, so sought a shorter stand/ I remember years ago seeing Gibraltar made one, so a bit of research later, I found the excellent value S-930D (D for diminuitive??). The bucket adjustment is slightly different to other models allowing the snare to sit lower without sacrificing sturdiness.My inly bvery minor qualm is that the unilock tilter is on the single arm side of the snare bucket rather than where i like it on the other side - this is a VERY minor qualm, but more comfortable with two facing me to allow adjustment of the two dampers on one of my snares as well as a trigger. Like I say, this is a very minor moan given the excellent price for a sturdy stand.

This is an excellent snare drum stand, very sturdy, and very easy to adjust and fantastic value for the money.It is from the 930 mid range of the Pearl hardware series, but still great quality and considerably lighter than the top of the range 1030 series, so if you are looking to reduce the weight of your hardware case, this is an excellent choice.Unfortunately one thing it didn’t have is a memory lock, but you could use one from another stand if you have one.I have used it with a few different types of snare drums, wood, steel, brass, so all different weights, and it didn’t wobble or move at all.

Brilliant! Just what I was looking for. I needed a stand that would hold my additional 10 inch snare. This stand is really sturdy and I bought it at an unbeatable price. Was delivered earlier than the estimated date. I looked at cheaper stands but reviews suggested that they were OK, but maybe not for gigging. I have a pearl masters kit, so this stand is just perfect for me. Would recommend for anyone who needs a sturdy stand for gigs.

Wasnt impressed with the plastic clamping screw but, it does the job well surprisingly.I like the better height adjustment range this gives over other stands, as I prefer a lower snare height.

This is very well made strong, easy to put and fold.
