Same info as in "How to make Disease Disappear"
I like this Dr alot, and his plan is simple and powerful. I got this thinking there might be new material in it, or more expansive material on his 4 steps to health. Honestly I looked up some info in " How To Make Disease Disappear", and word for word was identical. Ugh. Lots of pics of himself in this one. When I 1st watched a video of him I just loved what he had to say and ordered the book. As well as recommended him to many friends I felt needed to hear what he has to say. It is simple, eat colorful whole foods, move, sleep, meditate or pray in my case, and stay off or get unattached to our devices. Great advice. Just don't buy both books. He is very upbeat and caring obviously about his patients and has a great understanding of Dis-ease, different from the majority of PCP's. We all need to follow his advice, but I really gleaned more info that I actually thought about in "How To Make Disease Disappear".

I first heard about this book by taking the Masterclass on the app Calm. I have to honestly say that it has changed my life for so much better. I completely believe the author's premise that good health is related to diet, exercise, sleep and eliminating stress. This book is such an easy read and full of great tips and information on how to life this lifestyle. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to make real positive changes in their life.

Fantastic book for those who want to improve health
I love Dr. Chatterjee. He is a wonderful Functional Medicine doctor from the UK. (The American version is called “How to Make Diseases Disappear”). He gives excellent advice about how to assess what’s really going on with ailments you’re experiencing by looking at what is going on in all aspects of your life: eating, movement, sleep, rest/relaxation. He gives very practical advice in each “pillar”. Dr. Chatterjee has a good website and podcasts you can listen to as well. I absolutely loved this book.

Just WOW!
I am a health professional and I have not seen such a well-written, well-organized, holistic book on healthy living. Not just eating, but LIVING- mind, body, spirit- but does not preach and no “new age” talk. He holds your hand through each step, giving you the building blocks to build a strong foundation of a lifetime of healthy habits and explaining why it works in easy to understand language. The organization, font, photos, book size, make it easy to read and go back to for reference. I’m going to buy more copies for gifts!

I read it, and bought two more copies for ...
I read it, and bought two more copies for "healthy" friends who can use his advice. He suggests small, realistic actions to improve your health, and he makes you think through the truth of what you are doing. Worth a read if you wonder why you are always the one catching a little cold that won't go away.

I’m an NHS GP and this is the book I recommend for patients
This book has condensed some of the most up-to-date and relevant research in the area of lifestyle and healthy living. It is packed full of ideas and tips and is easy to understand, fun and inspiring. I practice evidence-based lifestyle medicine as a GP in NHS general practice and recommend this book to my patients on a daily basis. My colleagues have been converted to lifestyle medicine practitioners through reading his book.I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to live a healthy life, anyone with illnesses such as diabetes, depression, high blood pressure, stroke, heart attacks. Anyone wanting to lose weight and feel better

Good ideas to follow for a healthy life
After a period of rapidly deteriorating health due to I believe from statins, I was sent to an NHS physiotherapist who could find no reason for my aches and pains, but suggested The 4 Pillar Plan. Dr Rangan Chatterjee makes reading this book interesting, giving facts and figures when required, but really gives good honest advice which is easy to follow and achieve. This is not an academia research book, but a book the general pubic can get good advice from for a better life. All GP doctors should read this book. As Dr Chatterjee says, look for the cause of a problem and correct that, don’t just treat the symptoms with drugs, which unfortunately GP’s tend not to do as they do not have time to with patients with a ten minute consultation limitation. Good read.

This book might really change your life
Can’t praise this man highly enough and this book should be essential reading for everyone.Written in a very clear non judgemental style and is encouraging in that it advocates taking things slowly at a pace that you can achieve. Was lucky enough to bump into Dr Rangan in Manchester one day and he is the genuine article. Very caring and humble. He is passionate about lifestyle medicine and this is a brilliant introduction. One of the key books that has revolutionised my diet and is helping me take control after a T2 diabetes diagnosis shocked me into overhauling my lifestyle. He had a great podcast to listen to as well

Practical, no nonsense, easy to understand
Love this book.Really easy to read and understand with examples, case studies and context of subjects. Have started already putting changes into play and feel better for it. The pace of life is so so fast I have forgotten time for me this book addresses this issue. It also helps with diet and breaks down basics. Having a cholesterol level which is very high and blood sugar level that needs addressing this book is easy and no nonsense in practicalities of what needs to be done to get back on track. I have tried so many diets over the years I have forgotten and am confused as to what is good for you and what isn’t.I have recommended to all my friends as a must have purchas. Am looking forward to the next book that comes out December 18.
