Meguiar's M4901 Marine/RV Heavy Duty Oxidation Remover - 1 Gallon Container

It’s work, but so worth it! Brought the shine back to our 32’ fifth wheel RV. Bugs and dirt wash off much easier when it’s not oxidized. The sun is brutal on RV exteriors. I’ll be doing it once a year with this product to keep the RV nice looking. Plus it takes less work when done annually. In the pics the left side shows the “before”, and you can see the oxidation. The right side is the “after” application, it’s shiny and reflective where this product was used. Works as well by hand as it does using an orbital device, so the edges, like around windows and narrow spots, where you have to apply it by hand look the same as where the orbital device was used. We polish the product off by hand. Best not to do it in full sun as it can dry too fast, which doesn’t allow as much polishing time, and requires more product to get the desired result. I definitely recommend this product.

Okay, don't buy the small bottle if doing the entire boat or RV.this stuff works like magic!make sure to get a buffer, practice, and watch many YouTube videos. It took me an entire weekend to do a 30' foot. I wish I had some before pictures, my boat shines like new! It's 20 years old and had ridiculous amounts of oxidation. I was embarrassed to bring people on the boat. Now, it looks like new!after oxidizing, you can use the polish and wax, which helps, but the oxidation remover did the trick.

We used this on our RV to try and bring back the original color as it looked pretty faded. The end result was great but getting there not so much. We purchased the gallon size container since we had no idea how much it would take. In the end a quart would have been more than enough. The instructions said to shake well so I shook the container for two to three minutes. After that the product looked like water with white globs floating in it. My wife and I then took turns shaking it for close to ten minutes. We then had an orangeish liquid with white globs floating in it. We ended up pouring the entire gallon into a two gallon bucket and used a paint stick on it. We were able to get it blended but the white substance would separate back out after a few minutes. We ended up stirring it up and pouring a quart into a clear plastic jug so we could see that it was shaken up enough before using it. I haven't seen any other comments about this separation issue so maybe we just got a bad batch, I don't know. Happy with the results but not the process.

This product is very easy to use. Removes almost all of the oxidation on first application, second light application to remove any oxidation you might of missed. I followed up with the Meguiar's marine polish mixed with about 5 to 7 drops of baby oil a smooth mirror like shine. Don't forget to wax the finish to protect the finish.

I don't usually write reviews, but this stuff is great. With Meguiar's product, I transformed my 10 year old, heavily oxidized 23' travel trailer into the glowing box it once was. I started by rubbing the cleaner in with a sponge, then used a variable speed polisher with a sponge pad to work the product in. I then cleaned it off using a wool polishing pad, followed by hand rubbing in a cheap polishing compound I purchased at Harbor Freight. The results were great. It even brought back a sheen to some of the original vinyl graphics.Some advice for the first-timer: A little bit goes a long way. I bought the gallon bottle, but I probably only needed 15-20oz to complete the entire RV. I used two of the foam pads, but could have completed the job with one, but the velcro backing on the first pad stopped working half way through the trailer.

Travel trailer gel coat was oxidized due to sunlight and age. This product brought the surface back to original color. Added a coat of wax and looks like new. Put on with power buffer and rubbed off with microfiber cloth. Highly recommend!

Using Maguires oxidation remover, high speed dual action buffer and little bit of elbow grease gives amazing results. The remover work quick and leaves a nice shine. I plan to follow it up with Maguires, Marine and RV wax. Highly recommend both

Have used the product before and just purchased the bigger size to compound my boat. Big job that has to be done right the first time. No cutting corners for me.

Amazing product. Deoxidized the boat easily, and brought a 1989 boat up to almost looking new again.
