For thermochromic powders these are amazing value for money. Lovely size jars, great range of colours and fab colour change. Excellent

Excellent and perfect for resin coasters!
Fantastic powder, mixes well without clumping and strong colours. For my use i found the best results in resin coasters, the heat from cups had the desired effect and a really cool effect too.Highly recommended!

Adds a bit of a surprise to projects
Nice set, the little jars are pretty on a shelf. The set comes with 5 little spoons to scoop out the pigment powder.Adds a bit of a surprise to projects but I would however like a bit more of a colour change when the colour changes.

It Works!
I need to do some more experiments with this pigment powder to get the quantity right but my initial findings are that it works! Heat it up and the colour changes, although I did need to heat it more that 31 degrees to get it to react. That might just be because of the quantity i used in my mix. The amount I used certainly made a very rich opaque colour! Judging by that, these little pots should last for ages as a tiny amount goes a long way! Great value!

Less is more
These are some fun pigments to play around with in resin. They are extremely fine powders that change colour depending on temperature. I had hopes that they would fade through a range of colours but instead they switch between one of two colours.I found that for something around the size of a small pendant, all I needed to do was basically dip a stir stick into the jar and then mix in what came out stuck on the end of the stir stick for a translucent colour. If you want a solid colour then maybe double that but I did find that the more pigment you add, the slower the colour change.I've used these in both two part resin and UV resin and they definitely seemed to work better in the UV resin although they do take a while to settle down to their base colour after being blasted with UV light. I found that five minutes in the fridge after making sure they were properly cured helped a lot.Over all, I think I'm going to have some fun playing with these and they're great value for money as they go so far.

Easy to use. Good pigments
I use these in UV resin jewellery - typically pendants, to take advantage of the colour change best. You need very little pigment to colour the resin (and it's best not to overdo it with UV anyway, so the UV can still pass through the piece to cure). The colour change works really well in pendants, as it's resting on the skin, so will rise above the temperature threshold easily.I'm sure these would look good on longer nails, as you'd get a 2-tone colour effect between the area against the skin and the nail tips, which would be below body temperature. At a little over £3.50 per pot, the set seems reasonably priced.

Nice colours but they don't come with any instructions 🎨.
The thermochromic pigment powder comes jn 4 colours. They change when activated my temperatures. I think that the colours are nice.Unfortunately, the set doesn't come with any usage instructions. I have not used thermochromic pigment powder before, so I didn't know how to use it. There are usage instructions on the Amazon listing but you should not have to look on there. When you receive things like this, you might not want/be able to go online to look. Also if you were buying it as a gift for someone they might not have Internet access to get this info, or you won't want to tell the recipient to look on Amazon for the instructions. It should have the proper instructions for the thermochromic pigment powder in the packaging. Some people won't be able to use it without the instructions. 🎨

Colour changing powder
The colour changing powder is really cool, I'm super happy with it.You get 5 different coloured powers each of which changes to a different colour with application of heat. Only a small amount of powder is needed, so a little really does go a long way.The temperature of the powder needs to be raised quite warm in order to trigger the colour change. The fastest way is to run it under the hot tap, but it does change eventually if you hold a piece of resin in your hand tightly after a while as it needs time to warm up properly.Very cool stuff, and I'm excited to use it in more projects.
