I got this because I struggle with itchy skin on my legs, especially after shaving, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference! It takes a little bit longer than a disposable razor, but with some patience it gives a great, close shave. I’ve also noticed a reduction in ingrown hairs, which is great!The product itself is very stable, and it comes with extra blades that are very easy to replace. The handle fits well in my hand, and I like that the weight distribution helps it to not slip out of my hand. My only recommendation would be if you’re a first time user like me, take it slow and get used to the angle and pressure you have to use because it’s definitely a different feels than disposables.

I was worried about the weight and size when I ordered. After receiving it my worries were gone. I have rheumatoid arthritis and regular disposable razors were never easy for me to hold. This razor fits great in my hands and the weight is perfect. The blades last for what seems like forever, I’ve had it almost 4 months and have used only 4 blades. When with disposable razors I was using 1-2 razors every time I would shave. This quickly became my favorite razor.

It works

Okay so this razor does give a really great shave and there are no razor bumps when using it or ingrown hairs. Overall the look, feel, and shave are great. The reason I give it one star is because it’s advertised as a Safety razor which I don’t believe it is at all. I cut myself with it twice and not a regular small razor cut but the single blade took off a lot of skin and made me profusely bleed and scar afterwards. This was just by what looked like a small nick at first. It was super painful and I stopped using it after the second cut because it’s too dangerous. If you’re looking for a fast razor to use this is definitely Not It.

The directions clearly say do not apply much, if any, pressure, while shaving.It took me a while to get the hang of it, the angle and everything, but now I'm shaving at a reasonable speed. I've not nicked myself yet. It's best to do this right after a hot shower so your skin and facial hair are primed and then use a bowl and some rich shave lather. Shave a length, rinse in the bowl, flip to the other side, shave some more, rinse, flip.It was a small learning curve, but well worth it to get away from those Mach 3 heads. Gillette has only raised the price higher and higher no matter where you get them, and the stores are starting to lock them up and make you find someone, and these DE safety razor blades cost mere pennies each, so it's a no brainer that at this point it's worth learning how to shave all over again.

I bought it for my dad and he loves it

I love the idea of this, and it's easy to put together, but there aren't very good instructions and I haven't quite figured out how to shave with it to be successful. Going back to a standard razor.

I prefer safety razors over you gillete MACH 17's with extra gel glide strips...Honestly, these razors shave nearly as good as those at a fraction the cost.I've been using safety razors exclusively now for about 7 years. I've used razors like this (screw on) and I've used butterflies. I like butterflies for convenience, but screw ons shave better in my opinion. Also, I've had butterflies come loose once or twice. More than enough to know I don't want to do it another time.This razor sits in my stubby sausage fingers just fine. I am able to swap blades with ease. And clean us is a breeze.Out of the 9 or so safety razors I have purchased, I would put this top 2 easily. And I would order this same stick again.
