A fox recently got a couple of our laying ducks, so I wanted to replenish our hens in-house. I had no expectations for a $30 incubator but figured I'd give it a try. We hatched 6 out of 8 eggs, which is as good as, or better than, other more expensive incubators. I wouldn't put more than 8 duck eggs in just because they're bigger. Anyway it feels cheap, and the instructions are translated from Chinese or something, and you have to read them at least a few times for them to make any sense at all. But the programming works, and as long as you don't overthink it, it does the job quite well. Someone else mentioned taking out the turner for the last 3 days, but you don't have to do that if you use the presets; it stops turning automatically. What more do you want?I did add my own larger water container with a lid when we went on vacation for 10 days, and that's the only modification I'd recommend. And to others' points about the pump not working, it's about as rudimentary as it gets, and you might not realize it's dripping into the reservoir, but it is.And I thought it would be hard to clean after hatching 6 ducklings, but not at all. The bottom comes apart very easily to soak, and the top is easy to scrub with some disinfectant wipes.Anyway, for $30, you can't argue with the results.

At first, the unit seemed to be decent based on the cost. Everything (temp, humidity, rotation, etc.) worked fine for just over three weeks but then it went haywire. All the lights started flashing and it continually emitted a beeping noise. Tried reset the unit by unplugging, checking all the settings, input, etc. to no avail. Of course, came onto Amazon to return and was two days past the window. The worst part is that we were 22 days into the incubation so very good chance our ducklings are gone!!!

first time trying to hatch eggs, this product worked perfect, Easy set up, to start-press mode, select chicken, duck, etc,,, automatically it turns eggs, count down the days and adjust humidity level. I placed 12 eggs in incubator 8 hatched, would of considered it a success if one hatched, because it was my first time.Gave it 4 Stars because No phone number to call if you have questions, email only, still waiting for a reply. Thankful I figured out a solution to my question, With that being said EASY to use

Best incubator so far I owed! My first incubator 7-eggs never have successfully hatched one chick. I decided to try out this brand and have two chicks and more to come. This product works great at a good price. I followed the book instructions to set up the incubator and everything came out great. Temperature and humidity are accurate. I didn’t use the default setting mode. I set the temperature based on the instruction of 21 days of hatching. Please make sure you remove the turner on day 18. The only tricky part is to connect the water runner. You need to follow the instructions and be patient with it. I have tried at least five times for the water to come out. After the water comes out everything runs smoothly. I 100% recommend that beginners like me try out some cheap products that work out great.

My kids found a very small egg so I needed to buy a small egg incubator. It is still fairly new and annoying when the water pump doesn’t work but working 12 hr shifts it is nice to have an automatic one. I’ve had to syringe 10-20cc water into the turning vent part on the top and close it in order to maintain humidity when it doesn’t work properly. But other than that it worked to hatch the egg. It is a nice inexpensive incubator but it beeps irritatingly when the pump doesn’t keep up with humidity levels that are set. It’s beeping again as I write this. I like the size, and decent quality of the product. It’s simple and looks cute, and absolutely love the candler built into it. Needs work on the hosing and water pump functions. I don’t want to hear beeping because it can’t maintain humidity. But other than that it does the job and it’s just disappointing I haven’t had it for a month and it’s been an issue. Hydration motor broke 14 days in and stopped adding water. Candle light is not very Brite room has to be completely dark to see in eggs. No eggs hatched from this experiment. Hen hatched 9 babies from same grouping of eggs.

Way to use and monitor. Easy clean up. Digital dashboard makes it easy to use. Was skeptic because of the lower price but all 7 of our duck eggs that were from the yard hatched!

The first one I purchased I let run over night to make sure it was in working order. The next morning there was 8% humidity and the automatic water pump would not rotate. I asked for a replacement which arrived the next day. I let this one run for a weekend and thought I was in luck but on Monday morning the humidity would not rise above 11%. Too risky to put my chicks in. I returned the second incubator.
