Sturdy, professional and good quality.
Quite a good product - the packaging was very professional and it's a good, sturdy size for the price. I feel I should have got a larger size but the tightness isn't exactly a negative point. The straps are strong and plentiful - I've worn it for six hours so far today and it hasn't budged one bit. The hinges are loose enough to not be a problem but strong enough to offer decent support and I can fully bend my knee as normal despite the overall chunkiness of the product. My only negative (and what stopped it getting 5 stars) was that when I wear it, at the top (behind thigh), it rolls down a bit, causing a bulge at the back which isn't comfortable, especially when seated. For £9.99, it sure beats some of the £30 - £50 ones you'd find on the high street. Well recommended.

Very good delivery. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the brace. Would agree with other postings measurement is on the large side. The normal you get what you pay for does not seem to apply in this case. However only time and usage will confirm this.

Brace yourself for a good deal.
My wife has been having knee problems for a few years but recently the pain was so bad she had to rest with her feet up. She has hypermobility in her joints and there are clear signs of cartilage wear and tear. The splint has been very successful and has made a big difference to her day to day activities. She is back to walking the dogs for a couple of miles a day and the swelling and pain level are greatly reduced. She is of normal build and the medium size is a perfect fit. We were going to buy a pair of braces as her other knee was giving problems as well but the one brace has balanced out her gait and now both knees are working well. This was a good buy, it does the job as advertised, is well made and arrived incredibly quickly, well worth the price. Will be getting another one anyway for our footballer son who has problems with a dislocating kneecap.

Back in the Swing.
While awaiting keyhole surgery I decided to try above support to see if could walk more than 50 yards before my knee seized up. I can now play golf again - with the help of a buggy so I am very pleased.

Exceptional value at this price, compared to similar items at four or five times the cost.
Having had problems with my knee giving out (osteoarthritis) I took one tumble too many and added a nasty ligament sprain into the mix. Alongside a gentle exercise routine, I now wear this brace for additional support. Previously I had been wearing one of the soft supports with a raised 'ring' to aid the knee, but this is miles better in terms of preventing the knee from giving out. I would advise using a tubigrip or similar underneath it though, to prevent the otherwise inevitable chafing from where the brace wrinkles behind the knee in use. Will it last forever, absolutely not. Will it see me through this period while the sprain heals, absolutely. It's well put together, not too heavy but not too flimsy either. Most importantly, I now have my confidence back when walking that I'm not going to fall flat on my face again. It's a real bargain as well, given that other braces that appear very similar indeed can cost five times as much!

fortunately neither were complete tears
I dislocated my knee Skiing back in March, although its still not healed properly, this helped massively with the swelling and giving my knee enough support to walk. As an idea, i twisted my leg and tore the ACL and the quad muscle where it joins the knee, fortunately neither were complete tears, however this brace was instrumental in reducing the swelling and helping me back on my feet, its not mega comfortable, but nothing will be with that kind of damage. Once i had my appointment with the Knee specialist, he said it was essentially what he was going to give me anyway.Hopefully that might answer a question i was looking for when i bought it, if your injury is similar to mine, then this is great.

Good Support, Good value
Have only tried it on for a short while in the house, the medium fits a treat. The lightweight duralumin hinges shouild last considerably longer than the plastic ones in my previous brace by another maker that this is replacing. Easy to put on and take off, and comfortable enough. The support provided is very good and flexibility is good. Very good value for the money. As an engineering designer the only real weakness I can find with this style (All brands by different manufacturers) of brace depends on the stitching on the pouches the hinges fit into, and the tear resistance of the material used for the pockets, only time will tell. However as I stated earlier, for the money good support, good value.

Works for me
I suffer from hypermobility of the knees (my right knee being more severe) and get pain and swelling from any kind of impact exercise. Chose this brace after reading the reviews and because of the reasonable price. It definitely has made a difference and I am now able to run my local Parkrun. I still get minor pain and swelling but I would say it has improved it by about 85%. I have now ordered another brace for my left knee. Looks a little bulky but I actually find it quite comfortable to wear. I would say I am a medium sized lady and it fits me fine. It has adjustable Velcro straps which stay in place.
