It's tape
It seems as good as the common brand of acetate tape. It's cheap, and you don't get a bountiful supply in any dispenser... but when you just need lots of separate dispensers, these it the bill.

Adhesive too sticky
I find that with the first two dispensers I am using, the tape is extremely sticky and does not pull out easily. It also is not very shear. I hope the other ones will be better.

tjis was perfect for me instead of running to the store all the time im going to buy more to keep stocked up i had over 100 gifts to wrap and i didnt have to leave my house was so happy

Not usable
Tape very cheap... too thin. When I tried to start a roll it broke off whenever I tried to pull it out. Then was so thin I could not get it started again. Tried 3 different rolls from box and all were the same. Also not very sticky. I do not recommend this tape.
