Great little cases
I bought 2 of these for my 500 gb drives. They both came with USB cables and the power supply adapters.Very easy to fit with the plastic things that slot into the HDD`s fron side mount holes.Just plop em in and bobs your uncle they are ready to slide into the case .The conectors are decent quality and contact points are covered with neoprene .The SATA cable is just the right length unlike others i have bought where it`s too long and has to be crammed in .As I have just bought em I can`t really comment on reliability etc but they seem decent enough. For what I want to use them for (occasional use )I think they will be just dandy .Oh yes before I go, the kettle lead that fits into the power brick fits snugger than similar cases i have to this ,which is good so they don`t fall out with gravity :)if you are planning on leaving them on along time I suggest resting something metal on the adapter to drain heat off em to make sure they dont burn out ( i use a couple of heatsinks from old gubbins :)

Love It... Well not enough to Marry it that is....
Got a couple of these Cheapies. They do the job well. Easy Assembly. Just make sure you are fitting SATA Drives though.. or you got a shock coming.... Anyway they are shoved under the TV and hooked up to my Western Digi Live Box. No problems as yet, but I dont expect there to be as they are so basic... but thats the key... keep it simple.. dony Tart it Up for the hell of it, because it wont work any better afterwards.. Good product, Good Price..and Good Bye... (GUYJM)

Faulty
I attempted to install my 1 TB Samsung 3.5" HDD into the enclosure, but then found the front doesn't fit in after attaching it to my HDD.I needed it quickly as a temporary solution so I grabbed an anti-static mat and placed the drive on it, wired up to my PC and turned on the power; pop and the green light went out... That is all, dead. This is not the first review like this, the product is faulty by design and seems to be a Chinese product (never had a good experience with one) very poorly built usually just like this.

Good for the price
This drive caddy works well, although I have occasionally found it needs to be switched off and on again when it's been left "sleeping" for a long time. This isn't really a problem as Windows just sees it as a USB device that's been unplugged and plugged in again. If you are looking for a truly portable external drive then this may not be suitable, as I tried it with two different 3.5" SATA drives and neither of the screw holes aligned with the ones in the caddy. I keep mine in one place so it isn't a problem not having the drive screwed in.The only other concern I had is that the power supply gets so hot the label peels off, but it seems to be working perfectly otherwise.Overall, a good cheap caddy.

3.5inch drive enclosure
I should have known really that this was too cheap to be worth bothering with.....I received this in the allotted time only to find that the SATA connector does not align correctly without a bit of manipulation, the ultra small screws that hold the ends on just don't - they are less than useless, the screws supplied which are intended to hold the HDD in place are the wrong thread for a 3.5" HDD and finally the slots where said screws are supposed to go through into the HDD do not align correctly with the disc..... All in all just a waste to time and money - I have now sent for one from Dynamode

Satisfied for that price
Satisfied for that price, fit and finish could be more better. It is a US2 enclosure so you can't expect more speed, I think I got 11mb/s speed when transferring files from my hard drive (laptop).

Great thanks. Bought this to use with my Zgemma H2S Satellite box. Works a treat highly recommended.
