kathleen kennedy is the root of all evil
"She’s actually incredibly good at her job. It’s just that a lot of people misunderstand her job. She’s President of Lucasfilm. George Lucas once held that title, and he was the ultimate creative leader of the Star Wars story. You could naturally assume that Kathleen Kennedy would thus be the creative successor of Lucas. But that’s not actually true. That’s not how she runs the studio. In fact, the way how Lucas ran the studio is incredibly unique. Kevin Feige at Marvel is the closest you’ll get to a billion-dollar studio ran by a super fan, but that’s still not quite how Lucas ran things.Kennedy doesn’t handle the creative processes. What she does is hire directors and green light projects. She finds investors. Her tenure at Lucasfilm has led to both successes and failures. But seldom has it been directly her own fault. The people who write the stories are Dave Filoni, John Favreau, JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, etc. She’s their boss. But she doesn’t truly control their stories. She runs the business side of things.Much of the backlash toward her is poorly targeted. For instance: The Last Jedi was 100% the creative work of Rian Johnson. She hired him. Does this mean the backlash is her fault? Not really. It would be the creator’s fault, which would be Rian. Also, just to put this out there: some people believe she is intentionally sabotaging Star Wars at the whims of Disney CEO Bob Iger. This is hilariously untrue." - The first quote I could find on the internet.

Funny, Topical, and Extremely Trivial
Disney used to only pander to shallow dummies from...ahem... my demographic. Now they pander to shallow dummies from a larger, more diverse pool. I'm only shocked by how many people seem to care. There also seem to be a lot of reviewers who didn't notice their side of the argument was being mocked as well. That said, it's still a funny episode; and that's what you wanted, right?

I paid $12 to watch this. TOTALLY Worth! Makes fun of both sides.
I have not watch South Park in like 10 or 15 years, but I was curious after all the hype this got. Honestly, it's far better, and more even handed than I expected. They made fun of both sides. It made me laugh at myself a little bit, I've certainly complained about Disney Star Wars, but I can handle being made fune of. That's healthy. it is nice to see sanity returning in small doses. It had a B plot no one is talking about, in which all the college-educated people realized AI made their degrees worthless and they did not have any useful skills like fixing things. That was funny too. As a guy with a lot of student loan debt that made me laugh at myself again.I cannot IMAGINE what people are even complaining about with this. People who claim it is "offensive" are straight-up lying. It made fun of guys like me more than it made fun of anyone else, and I am totally fine with that. It's really funny, and it hits lot of modern issues on the nose. Good satire, all around.
