STOBOK 30pc Set Plastic Architecture Figures - 1:20 & 1:75 Scale, Painted People & Children, Miniature Art Figures

This set of figures arrives in an easy to recycle plastic bag. Each of the figures is made from a hard, but not brittle, ABS plastic and all are pre-painted. The painting isn't even close to the quality levels of Bachman/Scenecraft and Preiser.In fact one could easily say the painting is pretty dire. Then again just 2 Preiser figures would set you back around £30 and here you're getting 30 for half the price. Plus it's no hardship to grab a can of primer, some model paints and do your own paint job.It's similar with the sculpting, there's no risk of these being akin to highly detailed resin 3d prints. Indeed some of these are pretty rough, plus the models fashion sense belongs to the 1950's. But they are reasonably accurate in terms of being G-Scale.Plus they could easily be modified with some Milliput or similar modelling compounds. Or they could be used in places, such as carriages or in the distance, where quality, detail and visibility isn't an issue.This is especially true for garden railways, a common location for G-scale train sets.Indeed for outside use these would be perfect, especially as they accept varnish well. As well as model railways they could also be useful for dioramas, dollhouses and even decorating cakes.Overall ? Yes these are not the greatest quality, but for affordability and usability they score well. Especially for any model makers who like to customise their creations.

Unfortunately the STOBOK 30pcs Model Man Plastic Figures were very disappointing. The figures were too large for 1:75 scale models, with sloppy paint jobs. They lacked the expected quality and detail, making them unusable. Unfortunately, they went straight to the bin.
