If you were into learning new hobbies but get easily intimidated like most people, a kit is the best way to go. For me, I had an interest in making my own soaps and seeing what they were about but didn't know where to start.This kit has some of the best quality materials, from the soap bars to the fragrances, that learning the process of soap making was a breeze! Not only was the appearance of the finishing result appealing but it looked high quality, like I grabbed it from a gift shop! It performs really well and smells heavenly. Even the colors looks both inviting and gorgeous.I'm happy I took it up as a hobby and began my journey with this kit.

Wish there were different scent oils. Having a child with Anxiety Disorder having things that can help him calm down, had to get our own scent.The directions are easy to follow. The molds do make prefect size bars and can reuse them making more soaps, just have to buy more. I was given a different kit to make soap and it is nothing like this one with the supplies given. The directions are not great. Making little flower looking soaps. Not what will help my child make a soap that he can use that can help him calm down when in an episode.This will be a better than other brands out there. Just make sure to see what scented oils are included.

This set looks very premium and high end, it would make a wonderful gift and look much more expensive than it really is. It's pretty simple to use, though the instructions could be better. The scents can be quite strong so be careful. The soap itself works well and is really fun to make, a unique craft set for grown-ups.

This was fun to mess with, with the kids, but made a huge mess. Smells good, has pretty colors. Not sure it works as well as regular soap, though. It's been cut up and used as decoration in the bathrooms now. Not sure I'd buy again.

This is a really nice soap making kit to try out this craft by yourself or with friends or family. It includes everything needed which saves you a lot of time and money because you don't have to research and figure out everything you need and then end up buying more than you need or small amounts or products that can be expensive. I recommend this as a gift and as a donation as well.

I’m seeing on other reviews that I should have gotten instructions, I just assumed there weren’t any. I had to look online, what to do step by step for melt and pour and it stated not to add fragrance or color until it’s right around 120 degrees. My soap base was setting already at 133. I just went on and put fragrance in and had to get them in a mold. This soap base was not a good one or something because in order to get it to 120 temp it was gonna be close to setting, well it was never good enough to work with. Can I get instructions from somewhere? I’m curious as to what I did wrong.

I paid a little more for this kit because it advertised 2.4 lbs of soap base which was more than similar kits. The whole kit together weighs 2.4 lbs per my scale. Another reviewer weighed the actual soap bars for significantly less. I did not open the kit as it's a gift to weigh the bars. False advertising!
