CastleBox Designs Cash Depository Money Safe with Drop Slot

This safe is perfect for my needs. The opening is wide enough to fit many bills and the teeth prevent someone from attempting to fish items out of the slot. The door on this thing is seriously thick and while I hope the anti-drilling features are never required, I appreciate the added security. The safe has holes to allow it to be mounted standing up or on it's back. Make sure you use fasteners that can't be tampered with, otherwise someone could just take the whole safe and open it elsewhere. Short of an angle grinder or highly skilled locksmith, you're not getting into this safe.

I was looking for a cash box for my business so larger bills could be kept out of the register. I also needing one tall and thin to fit in a checkout counter I built. When this was delivered I couldn't believe how heavy the box was.This cash box is built like a tank, very solid. I installed this in the checkout counter and made a custom face to conceal this box except for the deposit slot. This box mounted easily with the predrilled holes. The locks operation is smooth and the door fit is aligned and tight.Overall I'm confident that this will keep my cash safe.Update-This box has been installed and used daily for over a year. I am as impressed with it as I was when it was originally installed. The keys and lock still work as when they were new and the door hinge is still solid. Very impressed!

My wife had been asking for a safe for quite a while before we came across this one. What she wanted was a safe to deposit money into and not be able to have access to so that she wouldn't spend it. Of course they make savings accounts for this very reason but at the same time you can just transfer it whenever you want.The safe came with two keys that a relative of ours has so my wife can put money in whenever and with no access for quite a while she's excited to see how much has been saved whenever it does get opened.As for the safe itself, it feels pretty sturdy and durable. It was heavier than I thought it would be at first but that's probably a good thing.If you're looking for a small safe to save some money this is a good buy.

Heavy, sturdy, durable. This safe is well built. The door drops down, the lock on the door is heavy so buyer fingers beware. The drop slot is perfect for envelopes and bills. It’s fantastic.

At 20lbs this drop box is built like a tank. Since installing it, our break ins have stopped. and our worries are over. It comes with mounting hardware for floor, or wall mount and has 4 keys. Well worth the extra cost if your proceeds are exposed to the outdoors like ours are.

Love everything about it

Everything was great. Shipping, sturdiness, strength etc... until my 11 year old daughter broke in with a nail file and stole $1800 bucks. Locks need an upgrade. Purpose of a safe is to keep your things safe. I do not recommend this at all because of the easy break in lock. Too bad!
