Miracle Blade Block & Steak Knives

There is not much to say. Its a nice wood block. Fits the knife set well. It is important to note that If you own a set of Miracle Blades III, you need this block bcoz you cannot keep such large knifes safely on the kitchen table. Only if you have New Modular Kitchen made with drawers to keep chef knifes. Still I think block is better. When you place the Miracle Blade III 91M3RBXST2 [...] you get not one but two sets. Yes 22 Knifes in total. So, you will need two blocks. Its good quality .. available at bargain price so buy it. Recommend it. Thanks Amazon!! Thanks Chef Tony :P :)

I've been looking for a sharp knife set for sometime when I saw this advertized on TV. Later I went to Amazon and they had this set and quite a few reviews on the set. I was not planning on getting the butcher block, but because of the reviews I decide to and I'm so so glad I did. These knives are too sharp to be put in a drawer and besides with the block you have everything handy right when you need it. I also got the cutting mats and I love them as well, they are color coded so I know right off which one is for Veggie, meat and fish, so I don't get them mixed up. I would buy this set for a gift or myself again. Love it.

The knives are extremely sharp and cut through just about anything. I could see where rust may be an issue if you don't take good care of your knives. Washing them after use and drying them is a must. If rust does appear, simply make a paste using "Barkeeper's Friend" or "Bon Ami" and water. Rub the rust spot lightly with your finger tip and rinse. Taking care of them is the best prevention. I would recommend these to anyone who wants the ease of slicing, chopping or cutting. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars? The chop and scoop blade could be a little more sturdy. The rest of the knives are perfect.

I have had the knives for a while and finally broke down and bought the knife block. I wish I had of purchased it a long time ago. It is awesome. All the knives fit great. Even the bonus steak knives it came with have spaces. It looks good on my counter and now I don't have to have my knives on top of the fridge in a random container because they are super sharp and didn't fit in a traditional knife block.

I bought 6 or 7 sets of these as gifts after a friend of mine let me use hers 10 years ago. All the sets are still sharp and working good, have never sharpened them yet. I accidentally almost cut off my middle finger on my left hand with the fillet knife. Yes, they are sharp and before you may know it. I still have my finger though it took six weeks to heal. Be careful. These are great to give as a wedding gift or children moving out to their own apartment and needing kitchen utensils. No regrets.

These knives are amazing!!! I feel like I can cut into anything with them!!! No more struggling with dull knives. I've had them about 3 months now and they are still as sharp as the day I got them. And I also haven't had any rust spot problems like other reviews have said. I hand wash them, but sometimes they do sit in the sink for a day or so and no problems yet! If you want sharp knives at a great price, these are for you!

I bought these mainly to get the butcher block for the 11-Peice set, which is probably the main reason most people buy them. It's annoying that you have to buy extra steak knives to get a block designed to fit an 11-piece set that already includes steak knives, and that four steak knives cost more than the other 11 knives you actually wanted. But oh well - I was willing to pay for the block and figured it wouldn't hurt to have a few more steak knives. The steak knives themselves are OK. Not great, but we don't eat a lot of meat and mainly use them for cutting fruit and tomatoes anyway. The rest of the knives that the block is made for, however, suck. I mean, they can't even soft cut fruit. And since the slots are specially designed for those odd shaped knives, that set is kinda you're only option if you order this block. My advice: pass on both. They're not worth the combined price.
