High quality camera well suited for use on a bicycle.
I am a bicyclist and am very concerned about the risk posed to me by a crash while riding. Being able to document what happened is very important in the case of a crash. The camera is small and easily mounts to the handlebars of my bicycle. Importantly, it provides excellent quality video and you are able to read the license plates of the vehicles that pass in front of me. Battery life is excellent giving me more than three hours of recording time on the internal battery. I had a small problem with the camera and contacted customer support and they provided a speedy resolution. I highly recommend this camera for anyone who intends to use it for a similar purpose.

Definitely a good product
Setting up was a bit confusing. The app at least is compatible with my 2024 Motorola G5 Stylus running Android 13. Getting it connected to my phone was where it got dicey because in order to do it I had to disconnect from my home wifi first. I definitely suggest changing the default password to something more secure. Picture and video quality are excellent. Mounting hardware is easy to install. Definitely would not recommend use the "anti theft" bracket as anyone with a 4mm hex wrench can undo it.

Phenomenal "Dash" Camera for cyclist
The media could not be loaded. I bought the AKEEYO AKY-710S to document my rides especially when riding in traffic, it seems the majority of motorists drive distracted and frustrated. The camera feels very solid and the assembly has no defects or gaps. The unit comes with a great supply of mounting hardware that should cover 99 % of the install scenarios. This camera kit includes all the mounting hardware which is blendr compatible. In fact there are so many mounting accessories - that I was able to set up a mount for my 1997 Barracuda XX Team - thus allowing me to move the camera between my two bikes. For my application the setup only weighs four and three eighths ounces that is camera plus mounting hardware ( 4 ⅜ OZ )The charging cable isn't proprietary (USB C) but what comes with it is quite beefy and provides a reliable seal between the camera and cable.I am impressed with all the recording resolutions it offers, giving me a way to manage recording storage on the 64 gb card that is conveniently included.App setup and connection from android phone to AKY-710S was a quick and easy. For all you Trek Bicycle fans with the Bontrager Blendr Stems, the AKEEYO AKY-710S actually includes all the mounting hardware that is compatible with Bontrager Blendr Duo BaseThe only complaint I had is with the small screws to mount the bracket. the metal is soft and the allen head will strip. I put a dab of thread locker on all the screws so I would not have to tighten them again - remember when riding the the vibrations could cause the screws to get loose.Overall great value, clear video, well crafted and overall solid preforming product. If you are a cycling enthusiast this is a great piece of gear to have attached to the handle bars.

First impressions and progress - gravel bike
3/24: A software update to the camera improved the battery life, I now get about 3 hrs. of recording on 4k or 2k mode. Therefore I put one star back in. It seems this is the first version of a product that was not fully tested before bringing it to the market.3/19: well, more surprises. The battery does not last as advertised, after a full charge it barely gets to 2 hrs in 4k or 2k. And the app for IOS is buggy, e.g. it does not show live video but instead a black screen, the battery level indicator is wrong, ... Anti-theft? Anybody with a hex screwdriver can take it. I removed one star.3/16: My first impressions are below. Is this a keeper? I am not sure, this is my first bike camera and have no point of reference to compare it to. But, given the price tag, I expected better features.Pros:-4k video is crisp and clear. I will try 2k to find the difference.-The camera attaches securely to the mount. The camera screws in and one has to fiddle with the adjustment knobs in the mount, which is fine for a permanent mount.-The camera footprint is acceptable.-The build materials and quality look great.Cons:-Smoothness of video: Video is very shaky, there is no anti-shake capability. Every small bump and crack on the riding surface is apparent in the video -- annoying.-Battery charging: I have 3 battery packs that I use to charge my laptop, phone and widgets. None charges this camera, but a regular wall charger does using the same charging cable -- weird. It means you are left with two options to charge, either dismount the camera every time or use a long cable close to your bike -- inconvenient. There is no indication of the battery level while charging -- annoying.-Status led light: The led is located on top of the camera and it uses color and blinking light to indicate if the camera is on/off, recording, connected to wifi , etc. The problem is that in daylight it is almost impossible to discern and figure out its status -- annoying and inconvenient.-Sound: The camera optionally records sound, but recording captures wind noise all the time -- annoying.-Recording: The camera records 1, 3 or 5 minute video clips. It means at its best at the end of a 3 hour ride you are left with 12 x 3 = 36 clips !!!!!!!!!! I don't understand this limitation -- inconvenient.-Connectivity: The camera uses only wifi and needs a dedicated connection with your cell. It means your cell has to disconnect from your home/office wifi to connect to the camera -- inconvenient.3/14/2024: To my surprise, the Anti-theft adapter does not fit my gravel bike, it is way too narrow. I was forced to use the Handle Mount which is not what I wanted. This weekend I will test the camera on a ride and provide an update.

Difficult retrieving video to play!
It shouldn't be this difficult getting the videos from the camera. I have followed directions and it will not allow me to connect to wifi. The SD mini card is too small to plug into anything to play!
