Not well built at all, instructions were poor, has a 1" barbed fitting that didn't fit anything lowes had.... why wouldn't they just use a hose adapter? It's for a garden hose so why wouldn't that be the correct item..... Definitely do not buy

The unit is very attractive, cheerfully colorful after it is assembled, however, getting to the finished product was much more difficult than it needed to be! Instructions were not included with the parts – not even a QR code! Finally found the assembly instructions on the Amazon website, however, there were many more parts included in the package then were included in the assembly “manual“ (which was just a picture) or in the short two minute video. The couplers that came with the unit are not standard for US hose mouth sizes, so I needed to purchase new couplers as well as a feeder hose, which was also not included. Disappointing.

Unlike the cheap, short-life plastic hose reels found in most hardware stores in the U.S., this hose reel is sturdy metal, yet lightweight.It literally comes from China, via rowboat I think, as it took a month to reach my doorstep. But, for the price, it is worth the wait.The unit requires assembly and no instructions come with it. However, if you have an ounce of mechanical aptitude it is easy to put together. An assortment of hose fittings are included with it, but nothing that I found useful, so a trip to your friendly hardware store will be required.As stated, the unit is made of sturdy metal with the exception of the crank handle that turns the reel. The jury is still out on that part. It is made of a thin strip of metal and looks like it could easily break from the torque applied while cranking in the hose. My hose is heavy duty, so time will tell. If it breaks I will be forced to invent something stronger.

The ease of it and quality material makes all the difference in the world

I purchased this hose reel in April 2024. The item is not all stainless steel and immediately begins to rust. The fittings are not useful because they are ill fitting, at best, and leak. I purchased fittings from the hardware store to make it function. The reel does hold 300' feet of hose, but the handle is not very strong to adequately handle this amount. I have three other garden hose reels from different manufactures and have no issues with those. This one is a big disappointment. I would not purchase again. The seller did provide a partial refund. I would not purchase again, even if deeply discounted, nor recommend it to others.

Assembling this product was difficult as it gave no instructions outside of the video above. The connections, no matter which orientation I put it in, always led to a leak, even after using the plumbing tape. I spent hours trying to hook this all up, and still couldn't get my hose to run without water leaking out.Do no buy this. Do not buy this "cheaper" option. Spend the extra couple of dollars and get something that works

This s a good product for the money, but there are a couple of tings that need improving. It doesn't come with a parts schematic to order anything if needed later and the swivel hookup doesn't swivel at all. If I was to secure this to a wall or trailer, it wouldn't work due to the swivel won't turn independently from the reel so you can unwind the hose. I had to order another universal swivel in hopes that this corrects the issue.
