The best purchase of 2024. I put them in the neck of the baby bodysuits and they now last longer. (I buy those that are bigger size!). I also put them in the tote bag so now it can close. Diligence and attention are required to put them in but it is very doable and the instructions are clear. The quality could have been better but it’s ok. The studs are slightly sicker than I would prefer. When I put both sockets in with this tool, I close them and hammer with a toy hammer to ensure they are pressed well enough. Overall it is a fantastic tool for this price (£9) and I'm still amazed that I can install these buttons all by myself!!!

I am very pleased with this kit. I find it very tedious sewing poppers on. It does a great job. The only slight downside is that one of the plastic covers on the pliers comes off every time you use it. You have to put it back on each time. I’m sure a spot of super glue will sort it

Really nice set for a beginner. I'm looking at the bad reviews and can see from the pictures most of their problems are because they put the pins the wrong way so not really fair to the product. First time using them ever and found it quite easy after I learnt the following things. Couple things to be aware of: -the male stud has to be facing inwards to the funnelled part of the pliers. Facing away from the spikes. -takes a minute to make sure the female stud is facing the right way otherwise the spikes have nowhere to go. -a lot easier and less mistakes if you bend the spikes inwards slightly so they don't go around the stud instead of inside them. Only problem I found is that on my first mistake, I used the pin to take the spikes out and the pin snapped. Only made one more mistake after that so manageable with my nails but not ideal. Could do with pin being a bit stronger. I labelled the boxes to make it easier for me to keep going when on a roll which could be helpful for new customers too. Once I did a couple, the rest took maybe a minute per installment so really time efficient to use these. Overall I'm pretty satisfied thankyou :)

Bought this to use on my sons' sleeping bags. I knew as soon as I attached one side that they weren't fit for purpose. They are extremely loose, my sons would have ripped them off immediately. They were very easy to get back off the clothing. Don't waste your money. Terrible. Dangerous even.

Works well although not the best quality

Easy to use. Easy to follow instructions. Good value for money. Lots of fasteners supplied. Strong, not flimsy. Can be used on different weights and thicknesses of material. Not used on leather yet.

Awful - the press studs when affixed pull out of the fabric. Some are warped and don’t fit which to my frustration I only found out when trying to close them! Not a reliable set.

It's too good and convenient for small fittings and correction for broken hooks ..I am not pro in stitching...but I can fix with it

Nachtrag: nachdem ich unzufrieden mit der Zange war, hatte mich der der Verkäufer kontaktiert und mir den Gesamtpreis erstattet. Dieses nenne ich einen sehr guten Kundenservice und muss meine Bewerbung revidieren, zumindest hat der Verkäufer 5 Sterne verdient. Dankeschön. Die ersten 10 Nieten klappten so einigermaßen, danach war die die Zange , die sich wie Werkzeug von der Kirmes Schießbude anfühlt, so verzogen das danach keine vernünftige Nietverbindung mehr möglich war. Da ist es wieder, wer billig kauft , kauft zweimal.
