Excellent clipper. Ratchet is smooth and works on larger branches. The "oil sponge" fell off right away, but W-D 40 keeps the blades clean and rust free. Very good buy.

This lightweight tool is well made. I may buy one and store it for the future.The blade is sharp, the handle is solid, the extension is long. The ability to grip the trimmed detritus is very useful (you can place a bin and drop the cut portion right in).One important thing: be careful around electrical wires.

It has pretty red plastic parts on the handles, seems to be sharp, but not large enough to chop down a tree. Works OK on small branches.

I was particularly impressed by the ease with which it could be lengthened or shortened and by the cut and grip feature of the pruning shears. I deal with a tall vining shrub and it is always a challenge to trim the top and then retrieve the cuttings. This trimmer works to do that and makes trimming effortless.

I bought these to trim my Pygmy Date Palms and they self destructed before I finished the first tree. First, the safety lock kept sliding closed after each cut even though the screw holding it in place was tight. Then after about fifteen cuts the spring action stopped working. Instead of a real spring it uses a flat slightly bent piece of soft metal to return the blade to the cutting position. Due to the low price I decided it wasn’t worth the time to drive to the UPS store to return them so into the dumpster they went. You get what you pay for!

Circlip missed or so loose it fell off during use. Had to buy a replacement to put it back together.Seems to work wellSecond one I have that works this way. The cutter is able to cut and trim limns

These are a reasonable price and they do the job so far they have been brilliant. I would recommend these. They seem strong and durable, appearance is great. Makes cutting of plants easy overall a good product
