Hanging Bird Feeder Metal Squirrel Proof Seed Outdoor Garden Wild Perky Pet NEW

I've had this bird feeder for a little over a month and the birds and squirrels have torn it apart already. I've had other bird feeders that have stood up way better and were way to cheaper. The plastic is super cheap and one hard hit or fall makes it crack.

The birds love it it arrived in tact and on time. Good job

I like the look of this feeder but it is not very durable. The plastic is cheap and the squirrels did get to it. I made the baffle to help and it did keep them from coming down from above. I think the company should use thicker or more rubber like plastic AND make the bird landing area a little wider away from the column. I am going to rig up something to be able to keep using this but I will have to redesign it.

This thing is very cute but it's the worst! I just saw it in some article on squirrel-proof feeders - and that's how it's described here - but it doesn't work that way at all! The squirrels perch on the roof (the article said the roof acts sort of like a baffle...NOT!!), reach down, and tip the tray so all the seed just pours onto the ground. I don't even use it anymore because the seed didn't even stay in it for a day.

First, you can buy this feeder at Ocean State Job Lot for far less. That said, it's a fine feeder in the generic sense, but it's absolutely not squirrel-proof on ANY level. I've repeatedly watched in annoyance as the squirrels feast from mine. If you want a truly squirrel-proof feeder, you'll be spending a lot more than this costs and even then, squirrels usually find a way.

By far, the best feeder for the birds but it is also by far the best for the squirrels. They climb or jump, do their shenanigans and hang upside down and the feed is gone in 2 days. We have even tried putting Vaseline on the pole and on the “baffle”. We just took it down.

This is a good bird feeder but horrible to deter squirrels, they will literally climb up the pole and get on the bird feeder and tip it until all of the seed comes out. Also , they will hang upside down and eat all of the food. It looks pretty but not squirrel proof.
