Dilmah Premium 100% Pure Ceylon Tea, 25-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 6)

Being from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) I really missed my morning cup of tea after coming to the US. As a coffee drinking nation it is hard to find high quality black tea for a reasonable price in the US local grocery stores. The Lipton tea in the local grocery store has a cardboard artificial taste that I decided to have coffee rather than drinking Lipton. For 3 years I have been consuming coffee but the nostalgia associated with a good cup of tea after a long day did not go away.Finally I came upon Dilmah which is the best I can get in this country. Thank you Amazon for selling this product. Now I am a tea person again and a very happy one. However I have to tell that the Bogawanthalawa Brand is the best I have tasted of Ceylon tea. But unfortunately Amazon does not carry it. Dilmah comes very near to Bogawanthalawa tea in taste and is the best I can do while in the US.

Dilmah is normally my first choice for Ceylon tea, but what they currently sell on Amazon is at best mediocre. Brewing tea from tea bags is already a compromise, but selling teabags without individual foil wrapping in 2016 is a crime against humanity. Today I accidentally found one of those Dilmah foil-wrapped teabags from the box I purchased a couple of years and the tea tasted great. What you get here is nowhere near that quality. It doesn't just lose freshness faster over time, it is noticeably worse on day one. So I ended up switching to Greenfield for the time being, until foil-wrapped Dilmah is on the back market.

This flavorful tea is very reasonably priced. I would recommend this tea as a daily drinker tea. Comes with string tags, but it is not individually wrapped. 25 bags in a foil wrapper per box. Economical and delicious.

Dilmah Ceylon is a very tasty, robust Ceylon. I drink it with a little freshly squeezed lemon, but it is good enough to drink without anything added to the tea. I'm not exactly sure what grade of Ceylon this is, but it has replaced Barry's Gold Blend as my go to tea. This tea is 100% Ceylon, and tea grown in Sri Lanka is definitely my favorite, and I say this after having tried whole leaf Darjeelings, Assams, Lapsang Souchong, and a host of others.

This is my wife's favorite tea. One of my co-workers lives in Sri Lanka and would bring this tea in every 4-6 months.It became so popular w/so many of us that it was in short supply. I was Very Happy to find this via amazon for such a great price.Also, I really like the multiple small boxes (25 per box) as they stay fresher and are a great size to give to others to try out this wonderful tea.

I have bought this tea from shoppers grocery store and I loved. I went back and bought the remaining boxes and then when I went back they are all gone. they never brought back. I was looking around since I found it in amazon, thanks God. Will keep buying from here on.

Best black tea in the world. Originally I found Dilmah in New Zealand, where nearly every B&B and hotel stocks it. Upon returning to the US I was delighted that I could find it here too, on Amazon. It tastes like tea, not like dust, and a bag can continue to steep all day without turning bitter.

If you like strong and good English Breakast type tea, this would be it. I have tried so many other English breakfast and organic black teas, but this is definitely the winner.
