Barbieri Bicycle Bike Maintenance Accessories Chain Cleaner Kit System

After doing some brief research on these products, I decided to go for this model mainly based on the price. I was dubious it would do a good job as I'm used to taking the chain off and scrubbing in white spirit to degrease and clean. After a couple of uses, I can say I'm pretty pleased with it. It certainly takes the worsts of the muck off and I think if used after every couple of decent rides, it will keep your drive train working like new all the time. One failing with this product is the lack of brushes on the entry and exit points of the device for lateral / side cleaning of the chain. This means the only real cleaning the sides of the chain get are as it passes through the liquid cleaner and you are left with quite a mess to wipe off with an old rag. That said, it does a reasonable job for the money. After quickly using up the included cleaning fluid, I am now using double strength Muc-Off cleaner.

Does what it's meant to.Really eazy to use

Does the job that's supposed to do. Give it only 4 stars as I have to hold it against the chain as it will not securely fix itself but to me this is minor. Would buy it again.

Cleans chain and gears perfectly, although would be better with more of the fluids.

Does not work on my road bike.

Not good enough it was cheap

The actual chain cleaner is very good but there is not a lot of the degreaser and lubricant. Enough for one clean with a bit left over
