If you love to puzzle, you'll love this! I have made 4 of them now and cant get enough. Come prepared with your own glue and will definitely bring an exact-O knife to help cut out the pieces and ESPECIALLY with the really thin pieces. Also, if you break a piece, use the file to flatten them out before trying to glue together.

I’ve put together several of these types of dioramas. I’m not a novice. But this one was very frustrating due to the fact that it was not pressed very well. Trying to pop out the little pieces, no matter how gentle I was, the wood would split or splinter off.I will agree that the directions are very clear. They were easy to follow. I was just very disappointed in the pressing of the wood.

This is such a nice kit to put together. It looks a little intimidating when you first open the box. Don't let than put you off though. The pictorial instructions are clear and easy to follow. You have to have a little patience because there are a TON of wonderful little things to assemble. It takes some time, but the result is really fantastic. It makes a terrific and fascinating display item. Take a look at the pictures - just wonderful!

The first thing I will say is after completing page one of the instruction book I am a little disappointed, the parts do not come out of the cut out very well and easy break when trying to construct the punch areas are not easy to get out so for now I am frustated. I will up date when I complete. Well after completing this book nook I will say this one was stressful because the piece did not come out easy and a lot of them broke even with a sharp blade. I notice some of the wood was very thick and this only made it more difficult.

The only thing I don't like about it is the instruction pictures are very small. It would make things easier if the instructions were larger so a person could tell what they are looking at and they need to be put in order as to where they are placed in the book nook. Also, once completed the lights blink on and off.

I did enjoy putting it together but unfortunately the lights flicker a lot and they don’t stay on. It is beautiful though!

The media could not be loaded.  This was the first time I did this, and I would recommend this to other people.I would have gotten a 5 star, but I did find some of the instructions difficult to read/understand as the pictures were quite small, especially near the end while putting everything together. Also, some of the worded instructions were not complete (see picture).Only product issue I had was the long drawer handle was painted upside-down (it has a spot to snap to the base of the cabinet so I couldnt flip it around so the handle would match the others - the other were the same way where I couldnt flip it around to match the long drawer), but it is in the far back corner once completed, and I couldnt get a good picture of it, so its not noticeable after completion.They also have you glue the stairs/upper floor together before attaching it to the wall. I would recommend completing each section of it, attaching it to the wall, then glueing them together. As i had to pull mine apart since the spacing was slightly off and I couldnt get the holes to line up on the wall.They also send extra of the easily broken pieces in case any snap while removing them.But I highly recommend this product.

The instruction booklet could be a lot better. It is hard to understand. The parts are very fragile and break easily, have to be very careful.

It is evident that this kit is a reproduction (unlicensed) Harry Potter book nook. Elements from the on-line photos were changed like the white owl is now a brown one. The directions are not as easy to follow as a previous kit I completed from the same manufacturer. I was really disappointed with the image used for the outside cover of the nook. It is bad juvenile clip art which I plan to spray paint. Never-the-less, I'm sure I will enjoy putting this kit together and enhancing any of the elements I don't like.

Cute product, but I had to return since a wood sheet was missing, and it was the roof section.
