WIFI 6, Supports Arch & Windows LTSC
The media could not be loaded. Great material overall and comes with a usb for windows drivers. If your linux kernel is up to date, you’ll already have drivers installed and will have no problem. The price is great and speeds are perfect, with wifi 6 support. You can also repurpose the usb that it comes with if you’re that desperate (though it only has 250mb). Plug and play if you’re using linux, and if you’re using windows all you have to do is install the drivers from the usb.Overall 10/10, love the adapter, works great.

Worked smothly with Ubuntu 24.04
I had an old WiFi adapter, but it didn't work on my Linux machine as the driver was not compatible.I googled and found this adapter works with Linux in-kernel drivers. And yes, as promised, this worked smoothly on Linux without installing any additional drivers. My environment is Ubuntu 24.04.1 (6.8.0-45-generic).

Works great for Linux based system
Works great for Linux based system like Raspberry Pi 4B bullseye OS. It can achieve around 600 Mb/s when sending data and 700 Mb/s when receiving data. The device also works with Linux system out of the box without installing additional driver.

NO, NO, NO.... Windows 10/11, or Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 do not recognize it.
I tried this adaptor with several different systems, but none of them properly recognized the adaptor. EDUP website does not provide its driver.

Supports Zorin 17.2 and kernel 6.8.0-49
The adapter was plug 'n play under Zorin 17.2 and kernel 6.8.0-49. Ookla speed test results: 517 Mpbs down and 40 Mbps up. My wired connection is 950 down and 50. I can't complain. I am liking this adapter. Plus, if I ever have to use Windows again, this adapter supports Win 11.

Works well
I ordered this to update a bunch of note bookPC's that are no longer compatible with my newrouter. And I works well after getting the correctdriver. The file name for the correct driver is not namedthe same after you click the download link so. I madesure to scan it. MS Security Advisor showed that itcame back clean. Btw The name of the file isMT7921AU-WIN-driver when downloaded. As I said above, it does work well but, it is a bitbigger than I thought it would be so, sticks outfarther than I like. When used with a note book PCyou could easily break the USB port if you are notcareful.

Excellent with Linux
I have tested this adapter with numerous Linux distros including Debian 12 and Ubuntu 24.04. It is plug and play on Linux as long as your distro is using kernel 5.18 or later. It supports managed (client) mode, AP mode, monitor mode and P2P. It runs cool and is ultra stable. Recommended for Linux.

Works with OpenWRT
Works fine with OpenWRT. Uses kmod-mt7921u package for driver/firmware install. Make sure to use a USB3 rated extension cable if needed. For OpenWRT and a Pi4, I had to use snapshot version of OpenWRT with kernel 6.6+ for USB3 to work with this device. For Wifi6 band with AP mode, you must live in CA.
