Canadian Lays Ketchup Chips - 1 Family Size Bag

A good tasty treat but the price is too high. Covid ruined our World of shipping it seems. If you’re on a low or no salt diet these aren’t for you. Several broken chips also in tire bags.

Tasty chips and bags arrived in good shape. Arrived a day later than expected, but I was ok with it. Note each chip bag is “Family-size” 235 grams in weight, and not 270 grams as pictured.

Although the price was way too much money for a bag of chips I had to try them once so I splurged. The chips arrived on schedule, tasted really fresh, and weren’t mishandled. The flavor for me at first resembles salt n vinegar chips but then turned into a definite ketchup flavor. Little sweeter than I anticipated.

We love to get Ketchup flavored chips when visiting Germany (just like Paprika flavored). For some reason, the land of Ketchup (US) doesn’t sport this flavor and we ended up ordering this (overpriced) bag.I can keep it short, as in a word we ended up a bit disappointed by both flavor and presentation. I do understand that this is the Canadian version, and likely to be different from my previous experience. Ironically, Ketchup flavored chips somehow didn’t catch on just yet in the motherland of Ketchup.Flavor: Most kids love ketchup and grownups sometimes, too. That said, none of our five family members in both age groups were impressed. The flavor is more akin to vinegar than ketchup. We’re not against vinegar, but it’s different when it’s labeled “Ketchup”.Presentation: The pale dark red is not the most appetizing look and reminds more of a burnt paprika than ketchup. This wouldn’t be a big deal if the flavor was great, but in this case it seems to add to the disappointment. (To be fair, the depiction on the bag is accurate.)Overall, a fun idea to try—once—but our curiosity is satisfied.

I was so happy to get these delivered to the US. Why we don't have them here is beyond me. The chips arrived quicker than expected, and arrived fresh and intact. 100% would purchase again.

Pricey for a bag of chips, but worth it for the most part. Could of at least filled more than half way lol

When I was in Canadá I buy one thinking that maybe I don't like the flavor. But I was wrong! This flavor is delicious. It arrived well preserved.

Great taste. Better like ketchup cause it taste like it. Texture is like bar b que chips.
