I loved that it looked like wood, so visually it’s much more appealing. It arrived undamaged to Hawaii which is a feat in itself - so yippee for that! You’ll want to read the instruction cards that are zip tied to the gate - one says NOT to cut until you install and that the gate will look BENT until it’s installed. We made this initial mistake - cut the zip ties - and my husband was about to “bend it back” since he thought the gate must have bent during shipping. Lucky I read the card (men and their aversion to instructions - haha) which tells you why it looks bent. The zip tie that shouldn’t be cut until installation simply prevents the door from swinging while installing - so it wasn’t a major problem, just held it for him until it was installed. As you install the gate, the gate door will align as you increase the tension screws which holds it in place. It does provide an option to screw it into the wall if you want, it also has incremental gate pieces to include if your space is wider, or you incrementally remove pieces if your space is narrower. One thing I over looked is that there will always be a bottom bar flush with the floor across the entire width of the gate I was afraid someone might trip but because you have to stop and open the gate, people seem to see the bottom bar, and it’s not very high so it’s not been an issue - but be aware of that. As for the swing of the gate - it’s awesome because it can easily swing 90 degrees in either direction, the swing is smooth and the magnetic catch/lock works smoothly as well. I also like the latch to open the gate which fits your hand easily - you use your thumb and fingers - the motion is like you’re grabbing something. I haven’t noticed a way to lock the gate (ironically my aversion to instructions - haha), not sure since I threw away the instructions. It serves our needs as it is. Overall we all like the piece, it arrived undamaged, was easy to install, is sturdy, functions smoothly and it looks a lot nicer than many of the other gates. Aloha!

I really like this gate... It's sturdy and works really well for keeping my fur babies out of my kitchen... I will caution though, installation can be a bit rough if you cut the big ,thick white zip tie off before you have it installed - cutting it too early causes the gate to "bow" and it's difficult to get it back where it needs to be for installation...

Easy to put together and install. I use mine to block my dogs from getting to the front door to greet guests (aka jump on them) or escape. One of them I call “Houdini” because he takes any opportunity to escape if he can. Works perfectly!

Good and sturdy but not true to size..

This gate is very durable and looks nice. The choose the "wood" look and it is still built with metal. The gate was very easy to assemble and is not damaging my walls. I am currently using it as a puppy gate in a 53-inch hallway.

Secure fit, and the pass through gate works superbly! Very easy to install, follow the instructions, no tools required!

I bought this and regret it. This item is a pain to put together when you can get it to stay together long enough to actually install it. The whole time it's going to fall apart. After you finally manage to get it in the doorway it will then move back and forth like a sheet in the wind. The metal braces that are supposed to go over the connections do not hold and I had to get my drill and drill a screw threw them to get them to work. Did that make it sturdy you ask? NO! I had to drill 2 screws into my floor to keep it in place and even then it is raggedy. I do not recommend buying this item, but maybe you will have better luck.

This gate was very easy to put in place and stays in place. The latch works well, so it’s easy to go through it. Bought it to keep 3 small dogs out of the living room when having company or not going to be home. They haven’t been able to knock it down. The wood look is very pleasing and doesn’t take away from the aesthetics of the rooms. Highly recommend this.

Easy to put together. Easy to use. Effectively keeps two 3 lb pups out of rooms but is easy for us to move back and forth with ease.

Je ne vous la recommande pas du toute si vous avez des jeune enfants car la structure n'est pas du tout solide une fois installer elle est instable ou il y a les extensions de la rallonge très très dessu !

I installed it for my dog. This is the best size I found online. Even tho, I still need to add the extender. But this item is perfect for me.
