The hooks are about 4in's not in the hanger in the hanger they are a tad over 3in's to the center of the hook eye. Hope this helps. These are a very useful item.

Q: IS this just 2 glideware racks? Or are they meant for one cabinet?

These can be installed in the same cabinets or in different cabinets. They are not attached. I have them in one cabinet.

Q: How do you install glideware

I put ours in the Pantry closet & was the easiest way for me just to attach them to the bottom of the shelve & I bought a pair of them & the wife absolutely loves them & they have been installed for quite some time & are still performing very well, sliding smoothly & very durable , also will hold heavy cast iron skillets with ease. Hope this helps. They give you directions but say nothing about mounting directly to the bottom of the shelves so I called & ask & was informed that it was safe to mount to the shelve bottoms. Easy & work great.

Q: Can 2 be installed in a 22 inch cabinet?

They could I guess but they would be very close together & not giving you room to hang the pots, I took ours & instead of using the cabinet I installed the in the Pantry & attached them to the bottom of the shelf & they work absolutely wonderful & can even hold the Heavy Cast Iron Skillets along with regular pot and pans, also in the pantry they were a bit higher than if I had used the cabinet & after getting older it is harder to bend down to get them from the lower cabinet. Hope this helps.
