MComboPower Lift Recliner Chair with Extended Footrest for Big Elderly People, Fabric R7289 (Dark Gray, Medium-Wide)

I bought this for an older veitnam veteran that has trouble standing up from a sitting position and this was a life saver for him. The quality of the chair is great. It supports him as he stands up and actually lifts up high enough to where it almost stands him up itself without him even trying lol. It works great and it's pretty stiff not real padded but still comfortable. It was simple to put together and it was small enough to fit in his small living area. I am happy woth the purchase and I know he is too.

Overall, this chair was easy to assemble, very comfortable, and has all the features you needed to help your elderly parent still be able to function without help if needed. Helps you stand up and sit down with ease. The cup holders, pockets and two charges are very inline with the price.

We had to 'fix' the end foot piece, it had been put on backwards, it tends to 'bump' as it shifts up /down and frankly the cup holders make it hard to get out of the chair if you don't need to bring it all the way up. Now I confess my surgery is in 2 weeks so I'm sure that will be moot but I'm also not supposed to become dependent on it post surgery so then we're back to that as a problem. Wasn't something I considered when I bought it either. Otherwise it's very comfortable

My last power lift recliners motor went out, so I began searching for a new one.This one did worry me at first. It ships in 2 packages, but Amazon said there was one, and that it had been fully shipped after the first package arrived. However, 3 days later the other half did finally arrive.It's incredibly easy to put together, the only "heavy" part is the base, and you don't have to pick it up except to remove it from the box (I just tipped it out.) The arms and back are light weight, and simply slide onto rails.I will say I was worried. The rails that the back of the chair slide on stick out, so they put plastic guards on. Both were broken, one, the flat top had snapped off, but it came off the rail fine. The other had apparently been shoved into the rail so hard that it actually broke through the plastic guard, and it was VERY hard to remove. Luckily something I purchased recently came with a mallet, so I was able to hit the bottom of the lip and remove it. Not sure what I would have done if I couldn't get it off.The controller is nice. I like the kind on a cord (some have the controls on the side of the arm rest) so you can have it on either side. (I got the first to sleep in after rotator cuff surgery on my right arm so it was an important feature that I now enjoy)One thing I really like about this chair, is the feet come fully up BEFORE the back starts to recline. Normally recliners (mechanical or not) recline before the leg rest is fully extended. I have NEVER liked that about recliners. Sometimes I'd like to sit up straight with my legs up. This chair allows that.My only complaint is due to the cupholders, the arms are a bit shorter than I'm used to. The way I sometimes sit, my knee sits on the cup holder, and it's mildly uncomfortable. However, if you don't sprawl in your chair, that won't be a problem.It feels sturdy, and frankly I'm very happy with the purchase.

Arrived 2 days early. Easy to assemble. I bought 2 aad had them both together in then less than a hour. Including moving old chairs out of the way. Instruction where very clear and easy to follow. They made of quality material. Also very comfortable and works very well.

UPDATE:08/01/2022Everything that was negative in my first post was graciously and very professionally fixed by McCombo chairs. Without me needing to ask, they sent me a replacement chair and arranged for a UPS pick up of the first chair, in its damaged box. I naturally offerd to retape the damaged box, which they wrote me back thanking me, and saying that they were very grateful for my efforts .They apologized multiple times for the damage.Their polite, friendly communications surprised me! Not many companies go to this extreme to be helpful, grateful and just nice! BRAVO McCOMBO!!!The replacement chair was delivered perfectly by UPS. It appears to me as if the first FedEx delivery might have been the cause for the extreme damage. The continutation with a different delivery serice, UPS delivery, was flawless as always! LOVE UPS!All dealings with McCombo has been very helpful and professional. Communication was always prompt, professional, and quite friendly. It was a pleasure communicating with a real live person, who went above and beyond, to make a bad situtation PERFECT! I will definately be a repeat customer as we continue to decorate our family room. McCombo proved to me how a QUALITY company respects and treats their customers. Looks like it came from the DUMP!First, let me say that I LOVE Amazon. I've been a very satisfied Amazon customer for MANY years. So, when considering making a major purchase of over $600 , I didn't hesitate for a moment. I knew everything was going to be just fine.Sadly, this is NOT the case!This McCombo lift chair is to be a Birthday gift for my husband (06/13). He has had a very rough time lately after breaking hip. I thought this lift chair would make his life a little easier, less painful, and his birthday a little happier after his rough year.However, the box that was delivered looks like it didn't only come from the GARBAGE DUMP, but the BOTTOM of the GARBAGE DUMP!!The box is a disgusting, ripped up, piece of falling apart garbage, with pieces sticking out of it!The second box, which seems to be the backrest looks nice, but the main box containing the motor etc is all ripped and torn with pieces sticking out of it. I haven't totally opened the box yet. I'm fearful that there might be major pieces missing or damaged. I'm also worried that some critter might jump out of the box. It looks ripped, but also possibly chewed in places, with larger irregular shaped holes in the box. I would assume after spending this MUCH MONEY on a chair, that it would be delivered in good shape.How am I going to put a bow on a piece of ripped up garbage to wish my poor husband a Happy Birthday? Glad I didn't order a second chair for myself, as I had originally planned.Amazon, and the seller should be ashamed of sending out garbage to their loyal customers!!!!SHAME..SHAME...SHAME on Amazon, the seller, and also FedEx who dumped this pile of junk in our driveway without so much as ringing our bell. Our dog barked , and came and got me after hearing the FedEx truck. By the way, it had just started to rain, so without our wonderful dog alerting me of the delivery truck leaving, this mess would have been much worse, plus drenched! Glad it wasn't garbage day, or surely this pile of junk would have been mistaken for trash and hauled away to the dump, which is where it looks like it came from! I'm a reasonable person, and realize that at times a little damage is occasionally to be expected during delivery , but this is outrageous! I'm getting up the courage to open up this mangled disgusting box, but it worries me. There is no excuse for this. NONE!!Sign me VERY DISGUSTED! :(

Two person job, but assembly was quite easy. Once my dad got to sit in it and got used to the controls, it was easy for him to operate and much easier for him to get in and out of a chair. He raved about how comfortable that chair is. Great choice for an elderly parent.

I am an 84 yr. old female weigh around 150 lbs and this chair sits well and the mechanics work well, so far.i selected this chair on other peoples reviews and how it looked. I am well pleased with it so far.
