I lost my official Canon lens cap and was so annoyed with myself.This replacement lens cap fits perfectly. Just make sure you read the size of your lens to order the right size.The thread for connecting the lens cap to the camera is a bit short, to be honest. The thread does not connect to the body of the lens as it should do - I have had to connect it to another part of the camera. But it works overall, and I'm unlikely to lose this lens cap as I did the official one.

Pros - Decent quality cap. Good pinch mechanism. Seems well made. Probably 4 stars.Cons - Only ever get a 52mm cap. I've ordered a few of these now in other sizes but only ever receive a 52mm cap. Zero stars.So, if you want a 52mm lens cap then order one from this company, its a good cap. For any other size then DON'T DO IT. Ignore the multiple size claims, YOU WILL ONLY GET A 52MM CAP.

I recently purchased a Pentax X-5 camera but it came without a lens cap. The part number in the manual wasn’t recognised by any of the usual suppliers or even Pentax so I took a chance and ordered a 49mm and a 52mm cap from Amazon. Good quality, good price, speedy delivery and they both fit so I’ve got a spare as well !

Quite impressed really and especially for the money. I lost my original for my Sony a6000 kit lens 16/50. The Sony replacement was £13 and this was £3 which I thought was worth a chance. Fits perfectly and easy to work and seems more or less as good as the Sony one. I tend to use these for storage and have a neoprene lens cover on and off whilst out and about so for £3 I'm happy and would recommend. The size was 40.5.

Cap OK, string could not loop over to connect the the strap peg and the lens, I ended up tying them and putting a dot of superglue on the knot. Would have been nice if had been looped. Other than that happy (Nikon Series 1 10-30mm using the 40.5mm cap)

I lost two lens caps in the past and had to replace them. This time when I got a new lens I put the manufacturer’s cap away in case I want to sell the lens later. I put one of these caps on the lens instead and it is just the job. A very good buy.

I was looking for a replacement cap for my fujixt100 and this fits perfectly and with the strap, stops me from losing it when I'm on the go! Love it!

Fit as good as the camera lens branded ones.I have a few 77mm thread lenses so always have these in the bag in case I lose one on a shoot.
