Overall good
I am 5ft 8ins tall, inside leg 32ins ,38ins chest, 33ins waist and the medium was a good fit if a little long in the leg but perfect on the arms. The material is a bit thin, I doubt that it would stop oil getting through but perfect for household painting.

Portwest coverall - blue
I use my overalls for ordinary Do-It-Yourself jobs around the house, (wiring, plumbing, building), cleaning, (toilets, drains), cooking, (with or without an apron), and gardening. For those kinds of jobs my Portwest Coverall | Mechanic Garage Workwear is excellent. Whilst I don't use it in a garage environment, I'd be surprised if it wasn't perfectly OK in a normal / average garage environment. It has poppers, not zips, which is great because in the past on other overalls I have found that the main zip down the front stops working well before the material has worn out.The material is advertised to be 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It is both hardwearing and comfortable. The finish / sewing is good, and whilst I don't wash my overalls in the general wash, (with both myself and Portwest recommending that dark colours be washed separately), I haven't found that the colour runs. In short, a very good product for everyday use in a normal, ie not extreme, environment. It won't keep you warm if it is very cold, (it is thinnish single-skinned, not padded, although if you have bought a larger size you could put a jumper on before putting on your overalls), but it is perfectly OK if the environment you are working in is warm.Have I seen overalls that look better? Yes, a bit better, but then the zip would stick or even break on the better looking overalls, and then these overalls from Portwest are the better all round product.

Warm, runs tight but the sleeves are GIANT!
I got this for a Michael Myers costume at Halloween, the color isn't perfect but who can tell in the dark? The material matches perfectly however and is extremely warm and comfortable to wear.I typically am a Medium / Large (runs big) but if I wore clothes with this like I would imagine most people do, it runs quite tight especially in the groin, despite it being tight however the sleeves are super wide so it does look a little strange.Overall I would recommend this for a one-off costume or for general maintenance work when you don't want to get dirty, but if I was working around machinery I would be slightly concerned the extra large sleeves would get caught and.. you know the rest
