A terrific addition to an any lawn care program. I used this in our back yard and could see over time the slow nitrogen release take effect. Some of the best benefits are unseen, which are the improvement in root development.I am looking forward to spring and giving this product a fresh start. I like that it provides long term benefit to the overall health of the lawn.

I use some of this anytime my grass needs that "pick me up", when it has that sickening lime green color. Within a few days of using this, my grass is a beautiful dark green. A little goes a long way and next year I plan on adding this to my garden bed!

This is a good biostim to apply micronutrients to an already existing lawn program. The first 3 photos are taken of my backyard in North Texas (Flower Mound area) and dated 3/5, 3/11, and 3/23. The grass is Palisades Zoysia.On 2/24, I cut and bagged at 1.5” with my rotary mower. Then on 3/5 I began my bi-weekly mowing at 2” mulching the clippings with no bag. Once the neighbor’s tree leafs out I’ll let it go up to 2.5” because of the shade. Which means I have to push for rapid growth in early spring to get to photo number 4. That was 8/30 of the previous year. Trust the process.When used correctly and timed following scientific data, these products can help a great deal with the healthy green up and/or encourage to fill in. This is not some miracle juice that will fix all your problems.This one has an analysis of 0-0-1 and it has seaweed (kelp) of some sort. Seaweed contains a hormone that actually stimulates growth both foliar and in the soil. So this will help dog turf damage due to urine or just general shenanigans. My photos will also confirm that even the “slow-growing” zoysia responded pretty quickly to it.Be cautious with adding Potassium and leaving clippings. Multiple studies have shown that it can increase disease in a lawn type like zoysia, StA, and creeping bentgrass. I have no disease, so I am not worried.Adding nitrogen at this point is a waste of money, so I was happy to have the 0-0-1 analysis.Overall I think if you do your research and create a structured process then this product will aid a solid lawn program. Do NOT spray this in the daytime in Texas in the summer. Your lawn will be yellow before you go to bed. This is intended to be sprayed on in the evening, left on overnight OR watered in depending on the bottle instructions. I used a hose-end dial and spray so I did not water in. Had I used my battery spray I would have.

I was very, very excited to have an opportunity to try Petramax's Seaweed Turf Boost this season after spending months reading about lawncare. This is my 2nd year at my home and so far, used mostly granular products on my yard and garden. I like the idea behind humic acid and its use in soil conditioning. Your lawn's soil is half the story when it comes to how vigorous your grass is. Its important to build your soil up and make it easier for your plants to intake nutrients.On that note, my grass and garden plants are the best they ever been after supplementing them with this Turf Boost. I applied this with a backpack sprayer. Its probably not the best way for this application and would do a hose end sprayer next time, since you want this product to go into the soil. This application was performed at the end of April and it honestly seems to be working.Based on the label, this 32 oz container would not be enough to cover my 6k sq ft yard, so I opted to use it on my front and side yards only. So please keep that in mind and read the label before purchasing.

I applied this to my lawn but, did not notice much change in color or growth. I'm not sure it is meant to be applied in the spring or if it is to promote growth or just aid in soil health.

Liquid seaweed is supposed to be good for plants and I do apply them periodically to my garden and indoor plants. It can be applied throughout the year, but I'm using this to "wake up" my lawn and I'll be using other treatments to tackle my cdense clay soil.I'm glad I found something made for lawn. The instruction is very basic... almost too basic for me... but since I feel pretty comfortable with seaweed fertilizer, I didn't feel that I may face the risk of over fertilization, especially if the instruction stated that it is safe to apply on a monthly basis.From my understanding, seaweed is supposed to increases root growth in lawn, improves overall health and color, turf density, and hardiness. It is supposed to enhances soil fertility, create natural resistance to stresses, e.g., lawn disease, drought, and insects. However, with indoor plants, I add fish fertilizer too because there is still a lack of micronutrients... so I don't know if that applies to this product as well.The product is black in color, shake very well before use, I did not notice the product staining my hands, driveway, or sidings. But, inalsonronsed it off quickly. Pour the liquid slowly, I can't say the product would not stain clothing.I'd have to say that this product was just enough to cover my lawn 4500-5000 sq ft lawn, even though 6 oz should cover 1250 sq ft. So, I concentrated more on some trouble spots that needed a little more root booster.Since I just applied it, my review is based on the use, benefits, and disadvantages of using this product. I'll have to wait a few more weeks to see if this product can "wake up" my lawn, but so far, it's been a positive experience using this product.
