Got it cause it was advertised as full aluminium like the expensive ones(rimowa) it does the exact job, wheels are solid, holds my weight when i'm using it as a chair waiting to get boarded on the plane and no seats available around the boarding gate, and even i went down a slope in Barcelona airport and was amazed how sturdy it was . Plenty of room for most of my travels so far . What can i say, i like it its fun, usable sitting and small rides on the big corridors in airports, not just for carrying your belongings (mostly clothes all the time)5/5 💪💪💪

I’ve been looking to buy a stylish aluminium carry-on for a while, but was unable to justify spending the amount asked of a well known brand. Then I found this one by Opal Living. I’ve already taken it on a trip to Madrid, and what I can say, is that this case is amazing! Was able to hold everything I needed for a long weekend away, and the compartments were great at organising and holding everything in place. The overall quality of the case is fantastic. The frame and the shell are sturdy and made from quality aluminium. The locks are easy to use and the pull up handle is strong. From going through the airport, boarding the plane, to wheeling it through Madrid, this case felt like it will stand the test of time. There was a small issue with my order, but I contacted Opal Living directly and they were able to sort out the issue quickly. Their customer service is excellent! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy an aluminium carry-on but don’t want to break the bank!

Such a lovely case, really stylish and well made for the price! I have purchased many suitcases before and this is really good value for money. Added bonus you get a cover inside to stop it from scratching and all of the compartments inside are great for organising! will be telling all my friends to purchase one

I’ve been on the hunt for a weekend carry-on suitcase for a while, and thank goodness I went for this Opal living one!It’s exceeded all my expectations! I went for this one as it has the built in TSA approved locks. These work perfectly, I’ve used separate ones in the past and I always end up losing them. It’s been a lifesaver to have the built in.I’ve also never had a hard shell suitcase before, I’ve always had the soft material and they have just never stood the test of time. I’m officially a hard shell suitcase user from now on! It’s so durable, I travelled abroad and it doesn’t have a single mark on it.Finally the multifunctional pockets are so amazing for organisation! I could keep my shoes away from my clothes and its so spacious, there was plenty of room for everything I needed.I would highly recommend this Opal Living suitcase, I wouldn’t reach for anything else now!

This is a really solid luggage suitcase, it is made of aluminium and is strong and sturdy. On the outside are two soft close handles, one on the top and one on the side. They seem to close slowly, feel nice to grip and are strong handles in general with a nice softer plastic under for more comfort. Next to the handle on the top is a pull out handle, with aluminium extender rods, this does not feel as nice to use or hold, there feels to be less care with this, the handle just feels to be more plastic, not as thick and which the rods are aluminium it moves around a lot and just does not feel solid in it's construction. On the plus side it does enable you to have different height from it because you can raise of lower the handle and it is quick and easy to pull up and down.To complement the pull up handle the wheels on the bottom are small and have rubber round them for cushioning, they don't squeak or make too much noise. However they are plastic so might not take too much heavy use before they start to show some wear. They do manoeuvre well and guide the suitcase along nicely.At either side of the handle on the side are two TSA locks where you can set a combination to keep everything in the case safe and secure. To open them you press a button on the top, which feels solid and is nice to press.On the inside are a number of pockets and compartments, I was a little disappointed with the interior, while it is lined, it is not very thick and the velcro and straps feel a little thin. The dividers also don't feel as robust as the exterior. For me the interior is a weaker part of the suitcase. I also found some loose threads inside, now this can be forgiven on a cheaper suitcase but this thing is expensive and little things like loose threads really should not be a consideration. The zips on the inside are a bit small and fiddly too so might be an issues for anyone with dexterity issues.There is a rain cover included, it's clear plastic and quite thin, it's not great quality but I can understand why it's not very thick because it does then fit in the case easily but I feel it's too thin.The big downside of this case is the cost it's £220, as of May 2023. For this price I would expect perfection and the extra little touches such as the soft plastic under all the handles, no loose threads and a better finish. The cost puts this really at the top end and it just isn't top end. Had this been more competitively priced then I could forgive the little flaws but since your going to have a pay a lot for this i can't.At the end of the day this is a solid item, it's aluminium, includes a rain cover and some of the handles feel great it's just a bot inconsistent in the quality if materials used.

The securing Velcro straps inside are flimsy and easily dislodged and or bent, but otherwise it looks great and travels well. I look forward to seeing it more travel marked.

It's just perfect, even more than what I expected. In my opinion this is the best quality/price option. It feels, not exactly but like a rimowa. What I love is that in between the weels and the fact that it's zipperless, it doesn't make any uncomfortable noise, and it feels nice and smoth.Highly recommended 👌
