Two for less than half the price of one!
The GD500 lancer uses industry standard lancets such as the OneTouch UltraSoft and similar generics, and is much better constructed with heavier materials and should be far more durable than the expensive brand name LifeScan One Touch lancers that I have needed to replace every few years. The lance strength is seven-level adjustable with a visual cue of its setting. The lancet cover sets firmly and will not accidentally fall off or rotate. Old lancets are easily ejected by removing the lancet cover and, while holding down the trigger, simply cocking the lancet. (Caution: this lancet has a hair-trigger!) The GD500 is a bit longer than OneTouch lancers, but still fits my OneTouch case. The best feature of this high-quality lancet is its comparably economical price!
