Powerful cement mixer. Works great.

I bought this mixer for a small tiling project in my home.Pluses: It did a great job of mixing the mortar. Low cost. Dual handle with speed control and lock. Mixer shape gets the material at the bottom of the bucket.Negatives: Advertised speed control is zero to 800. Speed does not go to zero! Low motor power bogs down this mixer. Mixing 50 lbs of mortar is a real strain on the mixer causing it to overheat. Another 6” extension would reduce back strain during long mixing times.This mixer is great for small jobs but not for a business.

This mixer came with a bunch of extra brushes. That made me a little weary intitally, when I used it I found out why. It smells like it's 20 years old, because the brushes are already being worn down. The speed control is good, but it splashes a lot, so use a big bucket. It also came with one of the decorative corners broken, even though both boxes were intact and undamaged.

You really do get bang for your buck with this!!! Surprised my husband with a cement patio slab. This made mixing so much easier! I did it all by myself in just a single day. Really easy to operate and clean afterwards.

The SILVEL 2300W Handheld Cement Mixer is a corded 2-handed mixer. It comes needing a small amount of assembly with the mixing stick onto the unit. There’s the necessary basic wrenches to get the work done relatively easily, and even a pair of work gloves too. The housing exterior is plastic, and is lightweight enough for short term mixing. When using, the vibration is not too crazy but does shake more the higher the speed setting is. Compared to a drill, this is much easier to hold and operate and won’t give (as much) hand cramps. It gets the work done and not much else. Overall this is a decent corded mixer for paint and cement.

I've used this so far with good results. I picked this up for mixing paint. I like the variable speed control on it and it seems to be powerful enough to mix the thickest of paints. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied and it will get used quite often on my projects.
