I bought this to put in my entrance. They work great. Working fine so far and it has been 4 months already. They can be a little sensitive, sometimes they will turn on with rain drops. They are bright enough and where easy to install.

Working well in a garage and one outside light.In garage the second something or someone moves the come on. Our switch for garage is inside, and we had to open a door to turn on. Now the movement of the door to garage will will trigger a ight on.We have 3; in different spots in garage; like them alotNot sure if they cause higher electricity bill. They turn off, so no forgotten light left on.They fit a flat screw sealing socket or lamps.

I have wall lighting sconces on each side of my front door, each with glass panels surrounding the bulb. The typical infrared PIR bulbs don’t work well detecting motion in fixtures with glass panels whereas radar detectors do work.I wanted two matching bulbs with the same brightness and color temperature.This pair work great together. When motion is detected during nighttime hours the lights come on for about 30 seconds. There’s a slight delay between the two bulbs as expected. There’s no way they would both come on at exactly the same moment when a person walks up.The radar is sensitive enough to pick up a person walking inside the house, which I’ve experienced with every radar bulb I’ve used.Bottom line: If you are placing your bulbs in or behind a glass/metal fixture then the radar sensors are the way to go.

These bulbs do not perform as described. Or as I anticipated. They are not motion sensored. They are dust to dawn bulb. I was considering returning. However, considered because of the light on all night. It may be more of a deterrent, then element of surprise with someone approaching.

Tried all 3 bulbs in 3 different places. Only one bulb in one place consistently turned off after motion activation. The one that worked was a cheap Target floor lamp with plastic transparent shades, pointing up. The locations that didn't work were the porch light, fully enclosed in glass and 4 sided metal frame and a metal top; and a large IKEA floor lamp with large metal shade. In neither of these, the light will turn off, ever! Also, be aware, true to advertisement, these are daylight in color temperature, meaning they are the cooler, whiter type. The self return process from Amazon, via WholeFoods, was smooth and easy!

So far so good. They have pretty decent brightness. Since they using radar sensor instead of infrared, they can detect motion through glass, unlike the infrared sensors. However, you need to keep in mind that it also can detect motion through the walls. To avoid them being triggered, without the reason, you need to use them in location where is far from major traffic

These bulbs are very good , so good they even light up with the porch door closed when you go by.
