This smells so good! I have Narciso Rodriguez's Ambree and this is similar. I love this scent profile, summery, sweet florals. It's such a happy and uplifting scent. It is much cheaper on the gray market but I wanted it a lot quicker. Great value for the size. The bottle is really cute too.

This is a perfect, one for one dupe/clone of Ambree by Narciso Rodriguez. I own the original Ambree perfume by Narciso, and it was love at first sniff for me. However, that perfume does not have the greatest longevity. In making a rather extensive list of Arabian clones, I discovered Shahd as an alleged dupe... so of course, I had to order it and see for myself! I feel obligated to report back to you folks that at least to MY nose, these are the exact same fragrance. Scent profiles are identical! I would just note that the juice in the Lattafa version is a lot more POWERFUL... I'd say for 2x sprays of Shahd, you'd be looking at 5 sprays of Narciso. Which, for me, that's amazing. I'd rather need less, to arguably be achieving more! Also, Ambree does not have the best staying power, and needs to be re-applied annoyingly frequently. With Shahd, I've comfortably gotten at least 5 hours, arguably more. Either way, that's over double what I get with Ambree!Speaking as the scent profile as one, since they are exactly the same. This is a beautiful tropical floral fragrance, it gives all of the tropical vibes without the sunscreen! Ylang ylang is very prominent, yet well balanced amongst the other notes. Wearing this perfume gives me the feeling of having just stepped off the plane in Hawaii, being honored with a lei, proceeding directly to the beach and taking an evening stroll with my lover as the sun sets... it's absolutely gorgeous! Stunning. First step into paradise. This is the fragrance of an angel visiting you on the beach! I am certain this is what a Hawaiian princess would have worn!! Personally, I don't notice too much of a difference between the spray and the dry-down, but I'm perfectly okay with that! I find it so refreshing to have found a perfectly tropical fragrance that is not reliant upon coconut. This is a beautiful, tropically cozy scent. I have a difficult time picturing this fragrance any time of the year other than the summer, and I have a difficult time picturing it for a masculine person (though of course, do what you like!).Personally, I feel this is a very safe blind buy (unless you don't like ylang ylang). That said, I don't think the ylang ylang is overpowering, it's just pleasantly noticeable. I am very impressed by the longevity of this perfume, and it's closeness to the original Ambree by Narciso Rodriguez. This is such an excellent clone that I will not re-purchase Ambree in future, but Shahd. My only critique is that I feel the body is quite ugly, and is a bit of a letdown relative to the beautiful Arabian perfume bottles I am used to seeing. Regardless, the strength and longevity of this fragrance is far superior to it's original counterpart, and for that reason, I have a hard time justifying the other. This is my second favorite tropical fragrance I've gotten my nose on, second only to a very expensive niche fragrance that I own. For this price point, I don't think there's anything better! Perfect for anyone looking for something tropical, but does not prefer coconut. Or, a perfect way to add some diversity to the typical tropical fragrance!

Hidden gem Lattafa perfume right here. So, and this is something you'll notice elsewhere, the notes for this don't quite match what you'll get. This is specifically a Shahd thing, but at the same time, comparing to other peoples' experiences, it is legit. There is also some confusion from others who smell jasmine from this, and I can see why, because there is some similarity.However, if you've ever in your life smelled an actual plumeria flower, as in, picked it off the tree, this is that smell. There is no orange, there is no almond, and this is not actually jasmine; it's frangipani, and it's heavenly. This is the first Lattafa scent I bought a backup bottle for.Shahd is one of my two favorite nighttime perfumes, though you could also wear it during the day. The projection and sillage are moderate to strong. Without overspraying, you won't get an epic scent trail, but you'll still get some. It lasts a good amount of time on skin, too, more or less creating a tiny plumeria scent bubble. Yes, there's ylang-ylang and musk, but the plumeria is the star here. I used to think I hated that smell before I actually sniffed the flower, having previously only smelled it in things like candles and air fresheners. Completely different experience, as you can imagine. Anyway, this is a great yellow floral.The box is one of the least fancy ones from Lattafa that I've seen, and the bottle is relatively understated, too, but I think it's very pretty. Make sure to check for the holographic sticker. I will say that, probably because this scent isn't one of their very popular ones, my bottle didn't need to oxidize, though it has continued to soften and become better over time. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, the short version is that you should give your bottle about 5 full sprays someplace with ventilation, pop that thing in your closet or a cabinet, and check on it in a few weeks. This isn't what maceration actually is, but look it up by that word if you want to understand about it.Anyway, if you want to smell like incredibly soft yellow florals, this one's magic. It hasn't gotten enough love, and while I wouldn't describe this as an older smell, it's also not a teenage one, either, imo; it leans motherly but could fit any age. This is a very calming, gently confident feminine fragrance, and I think it would fit anyone trying to channel that energy with poise.As a sidenote, I'm told this smells a bit like Narciso Ambree. I can't confirm it, but if you've smelled that, you might care to know that many find this similar. Hopefully they don't stop making this one anytime soon though.
