30 Day Review: The U2-X Pro is very impressive, the adapter is compatible with both (wireless) Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. After a quick setup with the very easy to understand instructions provided, the adapter allowed me to finally use my phone wirelessly with my car after so long of being plugged in. It’s a game changer. After setup, you need to simply start your car and within 10-15 seconds the adapter will automatically connect to your phone. Thankfully, after trying 2 other-brand wireless adapters that failed to work, the OTTOCAST U2-X Pro was the device that finally worked for me and I couldn’t be happier. The pairing/connection is flawless, I never had any connection issues with my music! I can’t recommend this product enough. OTTOCAST also seems like the only company that keeps their device up to date for optimization & future-proofing purposes.

I've been trying to find a device that does both Carplay and Android Auto and my wife and I use different phones. Not many products out there are able to accommodate both types. Out of the box the device looked slick and small which is great as it fit in the small compartment where my USB port is (Skoda Octavia). All devices connected easily via Bluetooth and the instructions given. But when I tried to play Spotify on my Android, it kept crashing. I was thinking that this device isn't what I'm after and was about to return it when I realized that I haven't updated the firmware. So I connected it to my home WiFi and updated the firmware and now it works flawlessly! I set the device to NOT auto connect so that when it comes on, I get to pick which device to connect to especially when my wife is in the car with me. There's very little lag when playing Spotify and now I can pass my phone to the kids at the back when they want to play their songs without the hassle of a long USB cable. Definitely recommend this for cars that don't have wireless connections.

This product works great only a few issues every now and again but other ok easy to follow instructions to connect to car info

So many issues with this unit... Phone audio is unusable. Nobody can hear me, it's badly muffled, distorted, cuts in and out and everybody complains. I've never had this problem when the phone was connected directly through Bluetooth to the car. Every once in awhile as well, I start the car, and the unit switches from Android Auto back to the car back to Android Auto and will not maintain an Android Auto connection. I have done resets on the device, reset the car, delete the device etc, nothing works. I bought a unit for $50 less here on Amazon that works flawlessly. Doesn't work properly on my 911 or my Macan. The only thing that I can say is that it's packaged in a nice case, but it's totally useless as a functional Android Auto product. It's total junk and I do not recommend.
