Works and is visually appealing
Looks nice and can be stuck almost anywhere on my wood desk since it has a metal frame.I did not notice any signal increase from motherboards stock antenna which was kind of disappointing. I wanted to boost the wifi 6e signal.(1,100sq ft apt., Router in next room over) My previous signal wasn't bad, but I want better. Don't buy this looking for a miracle. My connection did stabilize a little better, but I was coming from stock antennas on a new build. The same size antenna's on the add-in wifi card of my previous build perform the same as this.The orientation of the antenna makes a BIG difference in signal strength. So big of a difference that I'm skeptical of the quality. A slight turn makes a noticeable difference. The fact that I had to "find" the reasonable pose vs. plugging it in and getting instant result does not sit right with me. The brand new $400 dollar netgear router and it's less than 500ft distance should have me at 100% if not close to it signal strength seeing as the antenna is raised and faces less obstructions.For some reason I have been having trouble finding a decent 9+db antenna and I got tired of searching.I do not believe this is 9db AT ALL and the wire is dollar store headphone thin, but whatever this one looks nice with my setup, and everything is working at the moment. I guess you can say due to the fact that I am lazy, I did not test out other options.On another note. I'm not sure why I thought it would be smart to consolidate two antennas into 1 and expect a better result.I'm rating this 5 stars, because I don't have the patience to test other products vs this one to conclude my interpretation that this is a cheap overrated antenna, and I'm the type to publicly down talk a product without display of proper analytic data.

This works better than my OG ASUS Antenna
I really like that there was hard plastic around the screws as opposed to my OG with electric tape that came from the manufacturer ASUS. While I was waiting for my replacement, I bought this one, and it’s also longer. This is great!

Broke after 3 months
Worked great until it broke after only 3 months.. an entire receptacle broke off one of the plugs!
