Excellent Coffee
Heard about this coffee & wanted to try it. It's an Espresso Blend with a great balance of robust flavors & aroma and plenty of caffeine to get the mornings started. Might try their White Coffee as it's higher in caffeine, though not sure I need more than what this offers. Highly recommend.

Easy to brew, great taste
Tastes delicious. I used my French press to make this and it tasted great! It was easy to brew and was not messy at all. It is not instant but it is preground. The smell was wonderful and did not leave that weird vomit smell some coffees do after hours of it being brewed.

Tastes fresh for being pre-ground; chocolatey notes
I tried this in both a regular brew cycle and in a bold one. Both were delicious, but I especially loved the bold. The flavor of this coffee is delicious and I can taste some of the chocolatey notes in it. For being pre-ground coffee, it didn't lose much of its essence. And if it did, I wouldn't even know since it tasted pretty fresh to me (I do prefer whole bean for that reason). We finished the bag so quickly because my husband really enjoyed it as well.

No burnt or bitter aftertaste, borderline dark-medium roast
This is our first time trying coffee from this brand. My husband and I typically gravitate towards dark roasts because we love that bold, rich flavor. I would say this is more like a dark-medium roast. It doesn't have the distinct boldness of a traditional dark roast, it's a little more smooth. Still great tasting without a doubt! When opening the bag, you are immediately surrounded by the delicious, rich coffee fragrance. Soooo nice and it filled our entire kitchen with the wonderful aroma. The grounds are just right for our drip coffeemaker - not too fine or too coarse. The flavor is rich and not at all bitter. If you aren't normally a fan of dark roasts because of the burnt or bitter aftertaste, I think you may still enjoy this one. It is milder compared to some dark roasts that we have tried. My husband and I typically add a bit of flavored creamer into our coffee but we both agreed that this was really good black, too. Great tasting coffee and very fresh tasting!

Great Smelling Hawaiian Coffee
I have only good things to say about this 12 oz. bag of pre-ground, ethically sourced, 100% Arabica, Hawaiian South Beach Kona coffee, but the package labeling could be improved. The bag came with a date sticker that is just a few days before it was delivered but doesn’t specify whether this is a packaging date or a “Best By” date. The excellent aroma suggests it is very freshly roasted and packaged coffee. A second issue with the labelling is that it doesn’t say that this is 100% Kona coffee and does say “Class: Blend” on the bag. My best guess is that this is a blend of Hawaiian coffees rather than single origin coffee or blend of Kona and other coffees. The label also indicates medium roast; accurate but perhaps leaning a bit towards a darker roast. Finally, a small sticker says “DRIP” and the coffee grounds look about perfect for this type of preparation. It’s the method I’ve used to make fresh, bold, and rich cups of this coffee.

Almost unnoticeable weak taste and flavor
For this premium gourmet medium coffee the taste is very mellow and bland. Sadly the aroma of the grounds brewing/steeping let out more of an enticing flavor compared to actually drinking it. The bag was completely sealed airtight when it arrived so the coffee grounds weren't spoiled in any way.

Premium coffee
This coffee is top notch. It is a flavorful medium roast that is very smooth. It has a subtle aftertaste that is pleasant and definitely scratches the itch that only caffeine can scratch. I have drank it every morning for the last week and it has been wonderful. I understand why they charge what they do. If the price were to come down a few dollars, I would recommend this product to anyone, but until that time comes, it will remain just an occasional morning treat.

Expensive
I turned this 12oz of dark roast into a rich chocolately cold brew. I've made hundreds of batches of cold brew with dozens of different dark roasts, and this was one of the better ones I've made. 7oz of water per 1oz of ground, 16 hours room temp soak = perfect cold brew. If you get this in bean instead of ground, you can grind a larger grind, and it will be even better.Unfortunately, the price is just too high if I compare to FRC Black Knight which I love for cold brew... If you buy that in large quanty (2lb or 5lb), you can hit 89c and 71c per oz. This is running 1.65 to 1.83 per oz because it only comes in 12oz bags.
