I don’t know if the outer part of this bottle is 100% pure copper, but it is intricately carved and has an antique look. It is not the part that comes in contact with water, so it is not important for that part to be 100% pure copper. The inside of the bottle is definitely pure copper. The bottle is large and will hold more than enough water for use in one day. Fill it with drinking water at night, and drink a cup of it in the morning, and several other cups during the day. The best part about this bottle is that the cap doubles as a drinking cup. It is also 100% copper inside. Instructions come with the bottle. You must wash it before use, and wash and dry it between uses. This copper bottle is definitely reasonably priced, as I compared prices with other copper bottles that were not as nicely crafted as this one, did not hold as much water, and did not feature a cap that doubles as a drinking cup. I know I will thoroughly enjoy this copper bottle!

This keeps water cool and great to have in the bedroom or any area in our home. The taste of water is unique. In fact, we never use to drink this much water as we do now. Thank you!

It's obvious, right out of the box, that this carafe is handcrafted. Looking inside I like the beautiful copper. The design on the outside is what had me pause. I didn't like it. Personal preference. The cup/ lid to the carafe is large enough to drink from after pouring my liquids from the container. The walls of the carafe are thin. It's not made to keep cold items cold or hot items hot for too long.
