A future collectors item?
Perfect album, sad to be the last. Had to grab my first CD ever for this album. 100% worth it. If you're at all interested in this band/album, GET IT NOW.

Good luck getting a copy...
Current circumstances resulted in this album being yanked from many places by the label. It's a really good album, likely PWR BTTM's best yet, IMO. Nice variety of music, and with fun, witty (at times even biting) lyrics.

Pageant digs deeper and displays the bands' talent
The new record is just as heartfelt and raucous as the first. Their sound has gotten more refined but still carries powerfully through the emotional moments and just plain fun. Ben Hopkins puts his versatile voice to good use and Liv Bruce's songwriting continues to shine while never ever losing the sweet rock core.

Total fun
A wild romp of rock and punk style indie insanity that creates a perfect listen for any fan of this genera style. A humorous mix of words, actions and scenarios. A chaotic word play that melds into a bombastic talent of entertainment. Sadly, there is some negative reality in the news about this group as of this writing, but I am not here to judge the actions of the group, I am here to review the music, and only the music, (with the negative news it's going to be hard to find this CD so be warned). This CD is a vibrant musical listen of indie entertainment. A mixture of genera’s woven into one sound. A punkish rock duo that stands out, and is worthy to praise for its original stand out mentality.5 Word Praise: Fun, original, Wild funky perfection.

Big sound, big heart.
This album will make you more alive. Big sound, big heart. The tracks keeps the energy of the band's first record, but add gorgeous and surprising arrangements (a chorus of angels seems to be harmonizing on a few tracks – if angels were fresh faced Brooklynites.) The song writing has also deepened. The tracks hook you with catchy guitar riffs but then break your heart with lyrics like, "When you are queer, you are always nineteen". If you like guitar-led bands like Nirvana and the Pixies that combined strong rock chords with melodic sophistication, if you like bands like the Velvet Underground for their DIY vibe, if you like idiosyncratic lyrics like those of the Magnetic Fields –– then you will love this record.

It makes me mad that stupid people let politics get in the way of this ...
It makes me mad that stupid people let politics get in the way of this great band. At least I was able to nab this wonderful album before people started burning it. I just wish they didn't have to cancel their tours or else I would also have a signed version of this great record.
