I bought the Senate 2TB external hard drive to expand storage on my Xbox and overall it’s been a great, reliable addition. The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.

Value for money, storage capacity, Durability, Noise level, portability, and Connectivity were all above but the only wrong thing was the Xbox Games Pass for one month that I got with it for free didn't work it's not the UK version it was the Euro version so that was a waste time putting it in.

Got the 2tb external hard drive after looking at internal storage that was half the size at double the price. Having all that space and the ability to transfer games to main storage in minutes is a win. But realising just how many games I can play straight from the external that I’ve had to keep uninstalling for space is priceless. Red Dead 2, Shadow of War, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Dragon Age Inquisition and XCOM2. Those 5 games alone wouldn’t fit on my Series S together. Now I’ve got all them and more.

Had to get my partner to reorder this for me as apparently I am only allowed to order one. given that I received a wired mouse instead of a hard drive i think that is a bit rich. UPDATE finally received the hard drive thanks to my partner. However, save your money as you CANNOT play Xbox games from this device. You can store them on there , but what is the point as you may have to delete games from the internal storage of the xbox to be able to move the game to a playable drive. Total con

I love how much extra space it provides — whether you go for 2TB or a larger size — because it means I can keep multiple big titles installed without juggling downloads. The compact design fits neatly beside my Xbox and even looks nice; the subtle green LED adds a bit of flair. Storage capacity is perfect as it triples the Xbox original capacity.

Is not truly “compatible with Series X/S” and is not “plug and play”. It’s just a drive. I do believe the advertising images of this product are quite misleading. You still have to transfer games to internal storage which is not what I was looking for. You guys should put that in bold on one of these images. So for fast transfers this storage is a steep price. You might as well buy the WD_Black expansion which you can play X/S games off. I’ll be returning and doing that! The way this is advertised makes it seem like they are competitors, as WD also claim its plug and play etc but actually is. If you’re looking for storage for old games or don’t mind transferring onto internal storage, it is fast. However, with a lot of big games properly moving multiple around will still take 30 mins - hour. It looks nice and isn’t noisy. But just not what I wanted and not worth the price imo. Works the same as the old £30 non Xbox drive I was using before

Installed this on an XBOX S after getting Indiana Jones (it was 112GB!) Works perfect, reinstalled all of my other games onto the drive and there work great!

Really great HDD. Since I got it I haven’t had a single issue, holds a lot of games and works perfectly and quietly. Would recommend to any XBOX owner.
