I do Monday morning art projects with a couple of my grands. I chose these for St. Patty’s Day and they truly enjoyed the project. I used acrylic paints instead of the offered little ones that come with these little guys. I did that for the simple reason that I have more colors to choose from that way. The grands had a good time decorating them and then finding the “perfect” location for them. Every other day or so, the gnomes seem to wander to a different location. They’re cute.

I got these for my grandchildren aged 7-13, they loved them! Each came with its own set of paint and brush. The ceramic was very smooth and easy to paint. Would highly recommend.

When the box was delivered, I could hear loose pieces moving around. Opened it to the 6 gnomes LOOSELY wrapped and freely rolling throughout the box! 3 of 6 gnomes broken....not a good purchase!😪

These were like the ceramic we painted in the 70s. Very clean, no globs of resin, molded well. Only complaint, one of the gnome hats came chipped. Missing piece was not in the box so it came like this.

Do not let them ship in manufacturers packaging. They are very loosely wrapped in bubble wrap, and the outside box is not sturdy. Mine were not as damaged as most photos you see but the mild damage wasn’t enough to attempt return, most knicks and scrapes give it character.FYI - these are ceramic, if anyone suggests priming that is not good with these. Be patient painting they will need multiple coats and even strokes but they’ll turn out adorable with time!

I was under the understanding these were ceramic and in fact are plaster. I would not have bought these had I know. I am a ceramic teacher and know the difference between ceramic and plaster. Not at all ceramic.
