These are great quality. I have bought $30 covers that are this nice and now know I'm being over priced thanks to Hockey Pro Shop.

I got a youth size and an immediate size for my 7 years old son and my husband. Turned out the youth size is just about 1 inch too short to tug in. I will recommend the big size if you are not getting these for toddlers. Youth size is really for tiny kids

I bought these as a replacement for some old Tuff Terry's I have on my skates. Once I took them out of the package I immediately thought they felt nice and were a quality made product. They have a nice thick terry inside and then a pretty stout bottom that I feel you could walk on and not be overly worried about getting cut through. Then I went to install them, and that's where it went bad. I wear a size 10.5 skate and it took all I had to get these over the corner of the blade, and I nearly cut myself doing so. So now I'm sad as my daughter gets another new pair of skate guards and I'm stuck with 9 year old, worn-out, terry's. She loves them on her skates and they do like nice, but I don't think they will fit anything over a size 10.

As a hockey player and coach I highly recommend using skate soakers. They help protect your blades from damage and rust plus they protect your hockey bag and equipment. I don't use them for walking around. I would use those rubber type skate guards for that and the soakers for everything else.These are quality soakers. Thicker than the ones I have been using for added cushion and moisture absorption. They have a cut resistant strip on the bottom but not the inside like my other soaker, so it will be interesting to see how these hold up in comparison. What sets these apart is the cool logo that is stitched into these.

The material feels nice and should last. My one issue is that they are not rigid or formed like my son's. So, they are somewhat flat when not in use. Personally, I would prefer a more rigid skate guard. My skate is a 10.5 and the guard fits but its tight. The blades are protected and so are my hands!!

Product is great quality, is very durable and embroidered logo looks great!
